‼️ Attention Ghost fans ‼️
Ghostie boy has been doing fabulously and we wanted to announce some special news... 👻
Ghost is officially UP FOR ADOPTION! We have decided that he no longer needs to be a hospice/sanctuary kitty because of how well he has been doing. However, he will need a specific diet of Adult Purinia Complete Essentials, which can be purchased from the Ely Vet Clinic. He has a sensitive stomach, but this is a diet that works well for him.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Ghost's story, he came to us in critical condition. He was found nearly frozen to someone's driveway with barely a flicker of life left. He lost the tips of his ears and tail to frostbite and his claws/toes aren't what they used to be. In our care he has nearly doubled in weight, healed up nicely, and after months of eating only GI food, has officially switched to a more basic adult cat food. He's doing GREAT!
Ghost is a highly social boy. As much as our staff would love for him to remain a sanctuary/hospice kitty, it's time to let him find a home that will love and spoil him with all the human interaction he desires. He does great with other cats and kittens, tolerates dogs albeit keeps his distance, and would likely enjoy children too!
He is easily spooked by quick movements, but is overjoyed when approached slowly and given time to adjust to new people. He is curious and semi playful but his croaky meow is enough to steal any heart who hears it 🥹
Whoever takes this boy home will fall in love just as we have here at Contented Critters 🖤
