Look who’s trying out their spooky night vision for the camera👀👻—it's Charla & Dotson!🐈‍⬛ These two black, semi-feral cuties recently found their forever farm home, and look how quickly they're acclimating in their temporary safe haven crates before full release.💜

Their wonderful new owners sent this fun update:
"We left the house about an hour ago for a bit,
and I just checked the camera I put on them,
and they’re both just chilling outside their
little kennels.😉"

How lucky Charla & Dotson are to have such amazing guardians! They’re taking the time to ensure even the "wildest" of creatures feel purrfectly content and safe before getting full farm romping privileges! They'll have goats, dogs, and chickens for company soon enough! O-L-D M-a-c-D-o-n-a-l-d had a farm... E-I-E-I-MEOOOWW! 😆

What a furtastic update to wrap up Black Cat and All Cat Appreciation Week! We hope many more black cats were appreciated last week just like Charla & Dotson. Every cat deserves a safe place to call home! 🐈‍⬛❤️

🎉🎉🎉Congratulations to our semi-ferals, Charla and Dotson, on finding their forever barnhome!

These two semi-feral beauties are now in their slow 4-6 week acclimation process at their beautiful farm home to ensure they are comfortable with their new surroundings before full release. They get to live happy, wild-ish lives just as they desire, but they will still demand their daily dry and wet food, just no touchy!😆 We'll visit them again during the last week of their adjustment period.

Feral cats are always best to TNR, meaning release back in the area they know. However, sometimes those areas aren't safe for various reasons (unkind humans, heavy traffic, no true shelter.. etc). Feral cats deserve our kindness and respect from afar just as any other wildlife. SPAY, NEUTER, RELEASE, ADMIRE, and leave the food in the bowl.😆❤️

Happy, long, wild-ish, untamed lives Charla & Dotson!🥰🐈‍⬛

✨️Come on Down! Tell Him What He's Won!💸

An all expense-paid trip to, Neuter Town! Yes sir Bob, you heard right! And a bonus package of antibiotics with a two-week stay at a luxury foster resort!😅

Meet our lucky contestant, Papa Bear!🧸

We have been helping an elderly lady overwhelmed with abandoned (unfixed) cats, and Papa Bear is part of this TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release) & courtesy post efforts, just like those long-haired tabby twins we posted recently! Same location. Like the tabby twins, he’s an absolute sweetheart, far too sweet for life outside in the cold, bleak winters. He needs a loving, inside home more than ever!🥺

This handsome 5-7 year old teddy bear had:
●a rough eye infection (see comments for
before vet pics)
●abscess wounds (drained & cleaned &
stapled)
●an infected jowl (big cheeks) - drained &
cleaned

Papa Bear is also fiv+, making living outside very difficult, since he is much more susceptible to getting sick.😞 The caregiver has stated he is the gentlest giant, always allowing the other cats to eat before him; a complete gentleman who just wants peace. The vet office raved on his sweet demeanor.❤️

We’re courtesy posting for Papa Bear & reaching out to rescues because after his medicated recoup time, he NEEDS a loving, INSIDE home.

Who’s that black velvet beauty?🖤🐈‍⬛

As promised, we are extending our appreciation for National Black Cat Day (yesterday!) all WEEK long! Because how could you get enough of these majestic mini-panthers in just one day?!❤️

Without further ado, meet the stunningly silky, Nyx!🐈‍⬛

Nyx was a little nervous at first for her special photoshoot, but after a Churu treat, she understood the assignment! What a model!

This sweetheart found herself abandoned outside last year during a very cold winter freeze after her owner passed away. A kind soul rescued her, realizing she was simply too sweet for the streets and too gorgeous to not be adored daily. Let’s face it—the camera loves her too!🧡

Nyx is a wonderful companion who prefers a calm home to lounge in. She may take a little time to warm up to being a lap cat, but once comfortable, she says YES to:
●Cuddling in bed (she’s a fantastic blanket cat!)
●Treats (all of them!)
●All the feathery jingle toys you can provide!

Nyx is 5-6 years young. Plenty more years to model, cuddle, and snack—but she wants to spend them in a cozy home of her own. Nyx deserves to be always loved, never fearing abandonment again.🥺

You thought we were going to say Happy National Black Cat Day, right?!😅 Don't worry, this whole week will be Black Cat Appreciation Week, featuring all the beauties you know and love! So stay tuned for our national silky, satin affair!🐈‍⬛

But first, let's mix it up and celebrate this glorious girl! Hazelnut is serving up some serious attitude, as if to say, "I've got black stripes! I'm nation-wide worthy too!" And honestly, looking at these photos, who could refuse? Seriously, this nutty little model is working those profile angles and rocking a closeup! What a black-striped sweetheart goof, indeed!

This lovely lady is only 3 years young and is in desperate need of a fresh start. She was tragically dumped at an elderly couple's home and needs to get off the streets. It's cold, it's wet, and it is absolutely not cozy outside for such a dear.🥺

Despite her sad tale, this delightful girl would be a treat to have in your home! She settles into a home-life environment almost immediately. Hazelnut is very social with people, loves being pet and held, and a master of lounging & zooms when the moment feels right!

A master of the slow blink (just look at her photo!👀), almost as if to say, "There's no place like home..."

Do we need to get her some ruby slippers?!👠

🍂🧡 Fall Floof Alert: Meet the "Twins"! 🧡🍂

Oh my goodness, can we talk about a Floof Alert?! Meet these two gorgeous tabby sisters who are desperately hoping for a warm, loving home before the holidays! This is a courtesy post to help, so please share!💜

These sweet girls are approximately 6-7 months old and have been lovingly referred to as "the twins" by their elderly caregiver. Their amazing caregiver has been doing her absolute best to feed and care for these two, plus a number of other cats who have shown up to her property, likely abandoned by nearby neighbors. She cannot keep all of these abandoned cats.💔

While they are accepting of pets from their caregiver when she feeds them nom noms, they are understandably nervous and cautious when outside. Like many timid cats, being outdoors makes them extra skittish. Because of this, they will do best in a calm, quiet home where they can truly relax and feel safe. They need a little extra TLC and gentle socialization to blossom into the sweetest little "lovedoves" they are meant to be!

The pictures provided by the caregiver capture their beauty. While we are working on getting the best, most vivid photos to capture their full beauty (and floof!), you can already tell these confirmed females are just stunning! They are scheduled to be spayed soon, and their caregiver is working with us on a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) effort for the other cats too.

BUT the real dream for these beautiful twins is a home—a cozy, warm, forever home where they can finally get all the love and snuggles they deserve.🥹
