Good morning! Our team wanted to reach out to update our amazing patrons that our offices Ellijay Animal Hospital and Ellijay Pet Spa will be closed tomorrow June 4th. Our team will be updating our computer software to better serve you and your pets! We will be back in the office June 5th bright and early at 8 am! Early detection is important in treating cancer , the earlier it is diagnosed, the sooner treatment can begin. The Animal Cancer Foundation has provided lists of common signs for pet owners to look out for:
Dogs: Oral odor, straining during urination, lameness, coughing, chronic vomiting or diarrhea, chronic weight loss, abdominal distension, an enlarging or changing lump, swollen lymph nodes.
Cats: Skin lumps or bumps, swollen lymph, hiding or changing behavior, oral odor or bleeding, unexplained bleeding, chronic vomiting and diarrhea, chronic weight loss.
