Services I offer: Transports, Day Visits, Over Nights, Socializing and Cleaning! As a dedicated animal advocate with several years of experience, I have also worked as a veterinary technician as well. In addition to pet sitting, I offer cleaning services. This includes deep cleans, construction, bi-weekly, monthly, STR and other specialized cleans. I also assist with organizing, decluttering, and laundry needs!

✨ Welcome to Pet Lovers Pet Care ✨

My name is Delilah Ownbey, and I’m the proud owner of Pet Lovers Pet Care here in Hayesville, NC.

I’m 22 years old, and my journey with animals started around the age of 14, when I began caring for pets for friends and family. As I grew older, my love for animals only deepened. I’ve always felt a strong connection to them, and I believe every animal deserves a loving home and proper care. Understanding their behaviors, recognizing triggers, and helping families find the right pet fit is something I’m truly passionate about.

From a young age, I developed a strong work ethic—selling vegetables on the roadside, walking dogs, pet sitting, cleaning, working odd jobs, waitressing, cashiering, serving as a vet tech at the humane society for over 3 years, and more. I truly love to work and take pride in helping others with tasks they may not be able to manage themselves.

I’m a graduate of Hiwassee Dam High School, a proud stepmom to a wonderful boy, and have been happily engaged for over 4 ½ years. My fiancé runs a local construction company offering nearly everything but HVAC, so together we’re able to provide both pet care, cleaning, and property improvement services when needed.

At Pet Lovers Pet Care, our foundation is built on family values, community, and a genuine heart for helping others. Alongside pet sitting, I also offer professional cleaning services and handmade crafts that bring warmth and creativity into homes.

Introducing 3 new puppers! 🩵 My first Frenchie to watch, too. These 3 pups are truly a blessing; the bigger 2 pups required some persuasion to become accustomed to me, but once the parents departed and I spent several hours slowly bonding with them, they became comfortable and allowed me to lie with them. Wally (Frenchie) was overflowing with affection! I am grateful their parents were able to locate my page on local sites and contact me! Remember I provide services to areas including, but not limited to: Polk county, Fannin county, Gilmer county, Cherokee county, Clay county, Union county, etc, in TN, GA, and NC.🐶🐾
