SMALL DOG AGILITY OPEN AT WORTHINGTON OFF-LEASH DOG PARK. Every Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday the gate between the small dog park & the agility area will be opened, & the gate between the large dog park and agility will be closed. Small dogs are welcomed & encouraged to expand their play and use the agility equipment🐾🐾 WOOF!!!

βœ”οΈ Check fences and gates for loose boards or latches
βœ”οΈ Bring outdoor pets inside
βœ”οΈ Secure trash cans, toys, and yard items that could blow around
βœ”οΈ Make sure collars and ID tags are on and up to date
βœ”οΈ Keep pets inside during the storm (thunder can cause panic and escape attempts)

March 13th recognizes National K9 Veterans Day and the dedicated K9 units who've served since World War II.

Two Paw Salute to the four legged heroes. πŸ•β€πŸ¦Ί This Day is meant to recognize and honor the bravery, service, and sacrifices of military and working dogs. These extraordinary canines have played crucial roles throughout history, standing alongside Service Members in and out of combat zones, detecting explosives and drugs, and performing search-and-rescue missions. Their unwavering loyalty, courage, and sacrifice make them heroes in their own right.

In 1942. On this day, the United States Army officially launched the War Dog Program, also known as the K-9 Corps. This marked the first time dogs were formally recognized as part of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Daylight Savings time changes can play havoc with our schedules, but it can be especially confusing for our pets who don’t have the ability to change the time on their watch. 🀨
While some dogs barely notice the change, others, particularly seniors or those with anxiety, may be more sensitive. Dogs have internal biological clocksβ€”or circadian rhythmsβ€”that regulate sleep, hunger, and activity levels over roughly 24-hour cycles. π‹π’π€πž 𝐒𝐭’𝐬 𝐭𝐒𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐨 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐑𝐞 πƒπŽπ† ππ€π‘πŠ!
Because dogs are creatures of habit, sudden shifts in mealtimes and walks can cause stress. To help them adjust, start today gradually shift their schedule by 10–15 minutes daily. It will make the switch to summer hours much easier for your pet and you.πŸ˜ƒπŸΎπŸΎ
