Every playgroup has its own personalities—and that’s what makes dog daycare so much fun. Did you know Nexus K9 has five very special feline team members? 🐱

Our cats play an important role in helping our client dogs learn and grow every single day. They’re not just adorable members of the family—they’re part of the training process.

Whether it’s helping a nervous dog build confidence around new friends, teaching a curious pup that cats are companions (not something to chase), or simply providing the perfect distraction to help dogs practice focus and self-control, our cats bring valuable experiences that can’t be replicated.

They also have an important job outside of training by helping keep our property naturally pest-free. Talk about a hardworking crew!

These special cats are a big part of what makes Nexus K9 unique, and we’re grateful for everything they contribute.

Ryker recently decided to join in on small dog social time—and, of course, he had an absolute blast making new friends and being part of the action. 🐈

Kevin started his journey with us as a tiny puppy, learning the foundations, building confidence, and putting in the work during his training lessons. Watching him grow from that adorable little pup into the handsome, confident dog he is today has been so rewarding.

Now Kevin is not only a graduate of our training program—he’s also part of our daycare family, continuing to learn, socialize, and enjoy new experiences with us.
