The Riding Academy is excited to announce that it has commenced operations at its new equestrian center in Guyton. Our center offers riding lessons on trained school horses and boarding services tailored to meet the needs of discerning equestrians. Patrons can also bring their horses for lessons or utilize our facilities, including a sand arena, grass jump course, and cross-country field, making it an ideal location for training and development. This facility has been revitalized to serve the equestrian community for years to come.

The Riding Academy's Spring show hosted at Magnolia Farm and Stable was a great success thanks to the participants, volunteers, coaches and sponsors! I love the photo's (thank you Andrea Webb Photography) of Wasabi- It brings me such joy to still get to "show" with him after all these years. He still comes alive in the show ring, but takes care of my students and I am so blessed to still be able to work with him. It was a great day of Dresssage, Show Jumping and Equitation under Janice Mumford as our Judge. Once agian participants got not only ribbons - but lots of great prizes includuding saddle pads, hats, grooming supplies, gear bags thanks to The Preppi Pony Co.

Love mixing it up ! All smiles after a typical dressage lesson turned into a fun jumping lesson . I love showing riders how jumping is dressage with “sticks” in the way. Turn down center line , extending and collecting the stride, change rein across the diagonal - all things that show up in a jump course .
Also loving the spring weather!

Come join the fun at 555 Squirrel Run, Rincon for the Riding Academy’s Spring Show. Clear round and ideal time jumping classes- ground poles to 80cm, Dressage and Equitation flat classes judged by Janice Mumford, a full horse trial with free schooling Friday . Ribbons 1 st- 6th plus lots of great prizes for first place , high dressage score , and champion and reserve champion for over all high point ! We provide a relaxed showing environment with the ability to add and scratch classes day of show !

First show of 2026 in the books ! Had a wonderful time at the inagural Palmetto Performance Schooling Series event !

One of the most rewarding things about teaching - is when a young student starts to developed their skills to the level of learning about connection . So proud of Caylee - I have watched her grow as a rider and so excited to start the journey onward and upwards .

Can’t say how proud I am to be a part of this journey ! Less than a year ago Kaitlyn took her first formal riding lesson, she grew up a self taught horse crazy girl from Florida ! She told me that first day “ someday I want to show at WEC, Ocala.” Favorite part of my job is bucket list checker offer! Bella and Kaitlyn are hard workers and dedicated to whatever task they try. 2 first place ribbons on day one - can’t wait to see how the rest of the weekend goes !
