This is my sweet big boy Tux…He decided to choose my address last November and I officially brought him in on New Years Eve… He was born outside and had litter mates including a twin brother…They lived in a treehouse in my neighbors yard and in my hedges in front of my house.. He would make appearances but not stay for long.. He was seen being fed at a dear neighbors house on occasion.. My neighborhood block had 2 of us feeding stray cats…Then a pair of coyotes showed up and Tux was needing shelter.. So I had just gone through this process with rescuing a cat left behind from a neighbor that moved.and I had him vetted and neutered and brought him inside and isolated him for 2 weeks and now he is loving his home with me.So I have 2 additions in the last year.. I also have a 14 year old cat named Sunshine who showed up at my doorstep in a horrible July heat.. Well.. Once you give them water and food..They are now YOURS..My point in all this is.. I was a foster mom for H.E.L.P). Homes for Endangered and Lost Pets and one of the founding volunteers who organized this group back in 1982.. I fostered over 250 cats and mostly kittens.. I was use to foster failures and adopted special kittens…But… What has changed for me is the present time… Rescuing 2adult un neutered males..who can spray.. I knew to get them neutered as soon as it was possible..Outside cats in these colonies are grateful to have people that care to provide food and outside shelter.Some are TNR.. ( Trapped Neutered and Released) Most of those cats are feral and not able to be rehabbed ..but they are eased back to their colony and now settled down hopefully to not reproduce.. But there are also cats such as Tux that are wanting to invite themselves into you lives and find a loving home forever ..So with my vet saying her groomers do not groom cats and many other shops don’t like to groom cats it gave me a nudge.. I think I need to focus on cat grooming much more.. So I am here to say I come to your house to groom your cat. I bring my supplies and you can watch or help if needed . Keeping them in their own home is the best way to keep them less stressed or maybe not stressed..And remember.. I groom dogs at all ages.Puppies before rabies vaccine ..older dogs who can’t get to a shop anymore ..
