El Dorado Animal Clinic Founded in 1910, the El Dorado Animal Clinic has provided a high standard of care for over 100 years. Dr. Davy graduated from KSU Veterinary College in 1971.

The El Dorado Animal Clinic is owned by Dr. Davy Harkins, and has been in operation since 1910. We are a full service veterinary hospital for all animals, including exotics. Dr. Harkins is one of the few veterinarians in Kansas that performs advanced dentistry - including root canals and braces - on pets.

Independence Day is fast approaching, and NOW is the time to be prepared. Please do not wait until July 3rd to make sure anxiety medications for your pets are ordered. 4th of July is the #1 Holiday where pets go missing! If you need a prescription filled for your pet, give us a call or stop by the clinic and we are happy to get you taken care of! We also offer microchipping. (Patient must be up to date on annual wellness for prescription medications.)

We have many exciting things happening this year at EAC but one of these exciting new things is that we now offer ultrasound imaging for specialty diagnostic reports!

What does this mean? We will now offer full abdominal ultrasounds for pets that are recommended for ultrasound referrals with a specialist. We are working towards a goal to soon offer echocardiograms as well!

This service is for owners that have been recommended that their cat or dog needs to see an ultrasound specialist and could help with the convenience of travel or long wait times to get into a specialist hospital.

Members of our team have been trained and certified to gather diagnostic images that we send to Board-Certified Veterinary Specialists to review, and the amazing part is that we receive the reports within 24-48 hours!

We are very excited to offer this service locally and help serve the El Dorado area with this amazing option. If you have any questions or would like to know more about our ultrasound services, give us a call at 316-321-1050.

Just a quick reminder as we are nearing the end of April! Our canine and feline Bravecto rebate will be ending the 30th of April as well as our heartworm prevention month deal. With that being said stop in or call any time before that date to get $40 of 4 Bravecto 3 month or $15 off 2 Bravecto 3 month as well as a Kong ball.
