We are selling some brand new, Gunner kennels! They have never been used. Unfortunately, they will not work for the purposes we had intended.
The sizes are a black intermediate, red intermediate, and teal large.
These are top of the line, crash tested, travel crates. Reach out if you or someone you know might be interested in them!

Shoutout to Transfurmation Rehabilitation! Chester has been a breeder at a puppy mill for 8 years. As a result, he’s very stiff and has some muscle loss. But Dr. Sam is awesome, and will be working with him to help him move/feel better.
If your dog isn’t moving right, or has aches and pains, give Dr. Sam a call!

Today is national dog rescue day! ❤️ You may or may not know this, but here at Barks and Rec, we help foster and rehome a handful of dogs each year. And it just so happens, we acquired one of those dogs on Monday. In honor of national dog rescue day, we would like to introduce you to Chester!

I want you to picture the sweetest dog you’ve ever met… Now multiply that by 10 and you would have the sweetness of Chester. Chester is an eight year old Cavalier, King Charles spaniel.
Chester has spent his entire life as a breeder in a puppy mill. This poor boy has had a lack of the life that he so deserves. But things will only look up for him from here!

He will be spending some time with us to get to know him, give him the proper exposure, and some training that he needs, and we will start the search for his forever home!

If you or someone you know could benefit from a Chester in their life, please reach out! We are the pickiest of the picky when placing the dogs in our care. It is not first come first serve. Only the best for Chester! But we do always appreciate help spreading the word. We’ve only had him since Monday so we don’t currently have a lot of feedback on him other than we know he is great with people.

We will continue to provide information as we get to know this boy better. He is currently still intact, but we are getting him up to speed on all of his medical necessities.

These happy boys want to remind you that we will be CLOSED for daycare, beyond daycare, and training on Monday, May 26th in observance of Memorial Day!

We will be OPEN for boarding pickups and drop-offs. These hours will be:

🕗 Morning: 8:00AM - 10:00AM
🕗 Evening: 6:00PM - 8:00PM

POWER OUTAGE!!!

Barks and Rec friends! Unfortunately, there was a high-speed chase in Eau Claire today. As a result, an electric box was hit and has taken out all of our Internet and phone usage. We are fairly unreachable at this moment. Hopefully charter will be able to get this situation figured out ASAP.
We will be checking email on our phones as frequently as we can until they have fixed the situation. Please bear with us and we will hopefully be back online soon!
