11 am to 4 pm - Friday and Saturday.

**NOW HIRING**
We are now hiring for a part-time Kennel Tech position. The position is for a mix of morning shifts from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Mon.-Sat. and 10-2 on Sundays. The position is for the back dog kennels, where we have 48 kennels so someone that is comfortable working around larger dogs is an absolute must! The work involves scooping, pressure washing, scrubbing walls, drying kennels, mopping, feeding, and moving dogs between the indoor and outdoor kennels. This position is very physical and individuals are expected to work in all weather conditions. Reliable transportation is a must. Individual must be 18+ years old and graduated from high school. Though the hours do not comprise a full-time position, this is not a summer job. Experience is not required but is preferred. We are looking for an individual with patience and compassion towards animals. If you would like to apply, please stop by our shelter and ask for an employment application!

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION: Ace is a 1 year old male Pomsky who has a very playful nature. Ace is shy with strangers and would need time to get to know you but that should happen quickly once settled into his own home. He likes to play with other dogs but would play too rough for anything much smaller than him. Ace weighs 27 lbs. and will need a fenced yard for exercise. We also do not recommend children under the age of 8.

UP FOR ADOPTION: Bert is a 6 year old male Cane Corso who came to us as a stray. He was in very rough shape when he showed up here but has put on 20 lbs. and is feeling quite good! He is a happy boy and wags his little nub of a tail every morning when he greets you. He has a great attitude and seems to like other dogs and is good with people. Bert will need a fenced yard so his wandering days are over.

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION: Chili is a 3 year old female Heeler mix that came to us from the Dog Warden. She was very scared and trembled constantly as if she were afraid of doing something wrong and being hurt. She has calmed down and acclimated well and it has been fun to watch her come out of her shell and be a happy dog. She loves running in the field, wagging her tail as she runs to the far end and back again. She has a playful side as she jumps from side to side in typical heeler fashion. We are just glad to see her playing and forgetting the life she used to have. Chili weighs 38 lbs. and will require a fenced yard.

IN NEED OF A HOME: Stencil is a 1 year old male Border Collie / Shepherd mix that came to us from the Dog Warden after being picked up in the same area as a litter of pups we had a month ago. Oddly enough, he looks identical to a couple of those little pups making us wonder about the relationship! Father? Last year's litter? Whatever it is, he is every bit as nice and handsome as those pups! He is an active boy that weighs 58 lbs., so he will need a fenced yard for exercise.
