Just a little message from the Pet Poison Helpline. We will be closed the weekend of Thanksgiving so that our staff can be with their families. Please use these guidelines to keep your pets safe!

While we are closed today for icy roads, please enjoy some cute pics of the reasons why we are excited to get back into the clinic tomorrow! We will be there for a full day with two doctors working to see everyone who needed to reschedule from today! Stay safe and warm! Spring (or Fall-at this point we just can’t keep up) will probably be back tomorrow, and so will we!

Due to road closures and unsafe travel conditions we will Be closed Tuesday 11/10/25 to ensure the safety of our clients and staff. We apologize for any inconvience this may cause.

We will be contacting all appointments, to reschedule for Wednesday.

Cold weather is coming for the next few nights! Please make arrangements now for your outside and farm animals. Don’t forget to check water sources and to give extra food to help them stay warm. Heated pet bowls are available at Walmart right now. Please provide extra bedding and shelter and bring in any pets that you can. Stay safe and warm and don’t forget to check on your elderly neighbors!

🌟 Staff Spotlight: Alyssa Goodman 🌟

Meet Alyssa, one of our amazing kennel technicians here at Country Hills! 🐾 Though she officially joined our team recently, she’s been part of the Country Hills family for the past year while shadowing from Prestonsburg High School. 💙

Alyssa’s love for animals shines through in everything she does — from caring for our hospitalized patients to making sure our boarders feel right at home. Her compassion, dedication, and bright spirit make her such a valued part of our team.

We’re so thankful for all that Alyssa does (and for the countless tail wags and happy purrs she helps create)! 🐶🐱💫
