☘️☘️BIG things are coming to Tana Wells Horsemanship!! ☘️☘️

I’ve been MIA all winter as some of y’all have noticed. I had decided to move back home and upgrade my facility to my own this will be bringing many benefits to me, my clients, my students, and most of all the horses!

I have moved facilities to Emma KY in Prestonsburg. Here I will be doing lessons, some training, boarding, planning group trail rides, day activities with people and their horses, a future trail obstacle course, many new turnouts, roundpens, and hopefully kids running everywhere ready to ride!

The barn we are working on is still in progress but, I will still be getting started up even before it’s fully done. We are hoping by April we will be moved in! As for now I am still doing riding lessons at home so feel free to contact me to get set up on here or my personal page (Tana Wells).

When we get the barn opening I plan to have a barn party inviting ALL y’all to come out and see the new place with plenty of food and socializing. I CANT wait to have everyone out again this spring!!! God Bless you all! 🩵

Are you interested in getting your kids the opportunity to enjoy the holiday season with horses?
Below is a idea of what you will be looking at when bringing your kid to the Christmas camp. I have not made this set in stone yet and I am looking into making changes to be able to have the WHOLE family involved. This would be a Friday evening to Saturday afternoon camp. Please let me know if this is something y'all you be intersed in. Located at StoneCrest Equine Center in Prestonsburg, Ky.

Tana Wells Horsemanship now requires a 60-day minimum for starting horses under saddle, as quality horsemanship cannot be achieved within a 30-day timeframe. This condensed period typically yields only seven days of riding. It is unrealistic to expect most horses to be fully trained in such a short span. Instead, 30 days allows for respectable groundwork, preparation for saddling, and introductory rides.

As a professional, my goal is to lay a solid foundation for horses that will serve them well throughout their careers. The first few months are pivotal in establishing a horse's long-term success and enjoyment of its work. Therefore, I cannot guarantee satisfactory results from horses within 30 days if your expectations are unrealistic.

For horses with prior handling, initial training, or requiring refreshing, I will consider a 30-day timeline. However, fully untrained horses necessitate a minimum 60-day commitment.
