It is with deep sadness that the Islip Horsemen’s Association announces the passing of our beloved Angela Marcotrigiano.

For more than 30 years, Angela was not only a dedicated Board Member, often holding the position of President—she was truly the heart and soul of our organization. Her passion, commitment and unwavering love for our club shaped generations of riders, families and volunteers. Angela gave every bit of herself to IHA: her time, her energy, her wisdom and above all, her enormous heart.

She was the person you could always count on—whether it was organizing events, offering guidance to new members or simply lifting spirits with her kindness and humor. Her presence made every show brighter, every challenge easier and every accomplishment more meaningful. Angela’s legacy is woven into the very fabric of IHA and the mark she leaves on our community is immeasurable.

We extend our deepest condolences to Angela’s family and friends. Her loss is felt profoundly throughout the IHA family but her memory will continue to ride alongside us in every step, stride and gathering.
Thank you Angela, for over three decades of unwavering dedication and love. You will forever remain in the heart of IHA.

What an absolutely unforgettable night celebrating our 2025 IHA Award Winners!

From heartfelt applause to proud moments shared between riders, families and friends, tonight truly reminded us why the Islip Horsemen’s Association is more than just an organization—it’s a family.

Congratulations to every rider and horse who earned an award this year. Your dedication, determination and love for the sport shined all season long. We are so proud of you!

A very special thank-you goes out to our Board of Directors for their incredible hard work and unwavering dedication. Some days are tough and the workload can be heavy for a position that is solely volunteer based, but nights like last night make every minute worth it. So much goes into planning an event like this and many of our board members were at the venue from 10:30 a.m. straight through 11:30 p.m. to bring this evening to life. Your passion for this association and its members is what keeps IHA moving forward.

As we close out an incredible year, we’re already looking forward to what’s ahead. Stay tuned—our 2026 show dates will be announced soon and we can’t wait to kick off another exciting season with our IHA family! 🤎🏆🐴
