This is me with Riley. I love him. Sadly, Riley was diagnosed with lymphoma and is now running free at the Rainbow Bridge. His owner took this photo a couple of years ago, and sent it to me today. I miss him already.

Hi everyone! For the first time in over a decade, Land of Paws is accepting new clients! If you or someone you know is looking for a new groomer, you can send them my way. Dogs must be under 50 lb., and cats are my specialty. Hope to see some new faces!

If you bring your pet to Land of Paws every 3-4 weeks, it's time to start booking ahead. I know, I know, it's months away, but my schedule is starting to fill up for next year. I strongly recommend booking ahead to get your preferred appointment dates.

The best way to do this is send me an email at [email protected] listing your preferred times. You can also text 530-343-4729. I will do my best to accommodate your requests.

Shelly will likely be there to greet you when you come in! Then your pet gets a spa day. Win-win.

Greetings everyone! There is road work going on the Midway just south of the Hegan Lane intersection, so you may be delayed getting to and from Land of Paws. This is Boogie, a dog I've been grooming for the last couple of years. He now has a job with the Butte County Sheriff, and I'm so proud of him!

We are excited to welcome our newest four-legged deputy! 🐾

Meet Boogie! Boogie is a two year old Giant Schnauzer who will be working alongside his favorite partner, Deputy Sharp. We look forward to the positive impact this new partnership will have as we continue to work together to ensure public safety.

Rainbow over Land of Paws yesterday.

I think of my clients and their pets that have passed on, and are meeting at the Rainbow Bridge.

Land of Paws has limited availability for new clients. Your pet must be under 40 pounds, vaccinated, and under the care of a veterinarian. If you have a referral from a veterinary hospital, trainer, boarding kennel, or other groomer, so much the better!

We groom cats as well as dogs, and welcome new cat clients.

Shelly says "Happy New Year!" She was using this tiara as a toy, and only got slightly annoyed when I put it on her.

If you are a current client of Land of Paws, and your appointments are scheduled every 4-6 weeks, it's a good idea to book as far ahead as you can. 2025 is already filling up!

This is Shelly, my formerly feral shop cat. She went on walkabout for a couple of days and came home with an injured paw. Thankfully, I was able to get into the vet right away and Shelly is in good spirits and eating well. Hoping for quick healing.

In other news, we're in the "ber" months all of a sudden, and it's time to start thinking about your pet's grooming schedule for 2025. I am already booking into next year, so if you like to schedule ahead, now is the time! The best way to do this is to email me at [email protected] and let me know your preferred dates. I will do my best to accommodate you.
