A few updates on the things we’ve been working on this summer:

🌿 As a farm that only uses organic methods for w**d and pest management, we’ve been doing lots of mowing and pulling star thistle. It’s an uphill battle, but little by little we are seeing improvement.

💦Arena sprinklers are in! It’s especially nice under the covered area to have limited dust.

🪏Last weekend, Rick, Clair and Kyle leveled out and added mats to the last three stalls that needed work. Now, all the horses have level, dry, comfortable stalls year round.

We still have a few open spaces for boarders, please get in touch if you’d like a tour! 😊

As the summer heats up, we’ve noticed a real need for shade on the property. While our temporary shade sails are offering some much-needed afternoon relief for the horses, we’re also planting the future.

These little starts are empress trees, known for their explosive growth, of up to 15 feet per year! If everything goes to plan, these will be planted in the fall. Next summer, they’ll provide natural shade and some beautiful greenery on the property.
