Case Spotlight! 🐾

Ash, a 3-year-old labradoodle, found himself in trouble after swallowing a chicken skewer. Thanks to the quick action of his family, and the care of Dr. Mangus and our team, the skewer was successfully removed via endoscopy. No surgery for Ash!

We're so happy we could help this sweet pup!

Meet Chanti! Chanti is a 3-year old, green-cheeked conure who suffered a traumatic wing injury after she was accidentally caught in a refrigerator door while flying. After diagnostic radiographs revealed multiple fractures, Dr. Ribbey performed an emergency wing amputation.

Chanti's family says although she has destroyed her cone, she is doing well in her recovery and is still just as feisty as always. We're grateful to Chanti's family for trusting Dr. Ribbey and our technicians to care for her!

Meet Helios!

Helios is a 3 1/2-year-old conure who got himself into a little predicament by getting his beak caught in his leg band on a Saturday! Dr. Bartlett was able to to remove the leg band successfully from the leg, and beak with sedation.

Helios' family reports that he is doing well after the fiasco, and back to his happy little self again! 🐤🧡
