May Patient Of The Month✨

Meet Cody, our lovable 5-year-old Pug 🐾❤️

Cody has been visiting us for acupuncture and rehabilitation to support him with osteoarthritis and neurological deficits. Despite his challenges, he continues to amaze us with his spunky personality, happy attitude, and determination every step of the way.

Cody brings so much joy to our rehab family, always keeping spirits high with his sweet nature and playful energy. We’re incredibly proud of the progress he’s making and grateful to be part of his journey. ✨🐶

Keep up the great work, Cody! 💪🐾

Maintaining a healthy weight is one of the best things you can do for your pet’s long-term health and mobility 💙

Here are a few simple ways to help at home:
✔️ Measure meals—avoid overfeeding or free feeding
✔️ Stick to a consistent feeding schedule
✔️ Choose healthy, low-calorie treats (or use part of their regular food!)
✔️ Keep them active with daily walks or playtime 🐕
✔️ Limit table scraps

Even small changes can make a big difference in your pet’s comfort—especially for those with joint issues or recovering from injury.

Need help creating a safe, effective plan? We’re here to guide you every step of the way 🐾

Not all recoveries look the same—and sometimes our pets need extra support to heal fully.

Watch for these signs:
• Limping or favoring one leg
• Stiffness, especially after rest
• Trouble standing, walking, or climbing stairs
• Decreased energy or reluctance to move
• Muscle loss or weakness
• Changes in behavior (irritability, restlessness)

Rehabilitation can help improve strength, mobility, and overall comfort—so your pet can get back to living their best life 💙

If you’re noticing any of these signs, early intervention can make all the difference.

Warmer weather means more walks, more play, and more fun 🐕🌿

As activity levels increase, it’s important to make sure your pet is moving comfortably. If they seem stiff, slow, or hesitant, it could be a sign they need a little extra support.

Spring is the perfect time to ease back into activity—but remember to start gradually and watch for any signs of discomfort, especially for pets recovering from surgery or managing arthritis.

With the right care, we can help make this their most active (and comfortable) season yet 🌸

🐶 Puppy Safety Tips 🐾

Puppies are full of energy (and mischief!), but their growing bodies need extra care to stay safe and strong 💙

Here are a few things to watch for:
✔️ Avoid too much jumping (off couches, beds, stairs)
✔️ Keep walks short and age-appropriate
✔️ Use non-slip surfaces to prevent slips and injuries
✔️ Don’t overdo intense play while joints are still developing
✔️ Watch for limping or favoring a leg—even briefly

Early injuries can impact long-term mobility, but with the right precautions, you can set your puppy up for a healthy, active life 🐕✨

If you ever notice something off, early intervention makes all the difference. We’re here to help every step of the way 🐾
