“I still can’t believe we help pets as well,” Linda says. “Because of the isolation, pets mean even more to the people we see. They love those animals and want to take the best care of them that they can. It warms my heart."

We are so fortunate to partner alongside Meals on Wheels volunteers, Tom and Linda, who help ensure both people and their pets receive the care they deserve. Our AniMeals program provides pet food to MOW participants and it wouldn’t be possible without dedicated volunteers - thank you Tom and Linda!! 🧡

Join us October 3rd for our Cool Cars for Cats car show and cat food drive! We are teaming up with WesleyLife Meals on Wheels to bring awareness to our AniMeals program, a partnership where we work together to provide pet food to Meals on Wheels participants.

We’re pretty sure our volunteers are capable of just about everything! 💪 Alex was recently supporting a Saturday pantry shift when he noticed a light bulb was out. Without asking he went and got a new one, grabbed his ladder and went to work. It’s the little acts of kindness like this that keep our programs running smoothly week after week and literally keep the lights on! 💡 Thank you, Alex! 🧡

We recently received 1,648 pounds of pet food and litter from our friends at Animal Rescue League of Iowa to help keep our shelves stocked! 🧡Partnerships like this help provide peace of mind for local pet parents and keep those bowls full! Thank you, ARL!
