What a weekend! We distributed over 1,400 pounds of pet food on Saturday for our Pantry and Paws for Life patrons. We also received hundreds of pounds of donations from drop offs and our online wishlist.

THAK YOU for stepping up to ensure local pets are fed and can stay in their homes with the people who love them. This work truly would not happen without you! 🧡

🎉🐾 PET FOOD DRIVE WEIGHT CHECK UPDATE! 🐾🎉
We are officially speechless (and so, so grateful). 💛

Thanks to this incredible community, we are now sitting at an AMAZING ✨700 POUNDS✨ of pet food and supplies, plus $100 in monetary donations, going to The Pet Project! That means we’ve officially DOUBLED our goal for this year, and it truly wouldn’t have been possible without all of you.

A huge shoutout to Hill’s Pet Nutrition for their incredibly generous donation of 350 lbs of food. Their support made a massive impact and helped push us over the top. 🙌🐶🐱

There are just TWO days left to donate, Monday and Tuesday, before everything gets picked up on December 23rd, so these supplies can reach pets in need in time for Christmas. 🎄❤️

If you’ve been meaning to donate, now is the time! Thank you to every single person and business who contributed, shared our posts, or helped spread the word.

This is what our Polk City community looks like, and we couldn’t be more proud. Let’s finish strong! 💪✨

We are so fortunate to have passionate community members advocating for our mission! Dan is a hit at our annual Painters For Pets art auction, celebrating local artists while raising funds for local pets. We will be sure to share the 2026 date once it is locked in!

One of my absolutely favorite events to be a part of every year is the annual Art Auction Fundraiser for The Pet Project. They provide assistance for pet owners to ensure no dog or cat goes hungry and I couldn't be more proud of the work they do. I look forward to seeing everyone again in 2026 😺❤️
