Well since the students are moving back in and classes are getting started. It’s time to welcome our NEWEST team to JD Show Horses!!
The Ohio State University Western Equestrian Club!
This is a building year for the team and we are so excited to help them with that.

This amazing 2019 AQHA gelding is the real deal!

He has a fabulous show record with points in the western pleasure, hunter under saddle, trail, horsemanship and equitation. He also does the showmanship but hasn’t been shown in it.

He has a flying lead change, super pretty, sound and fun! He never looks to cheat you and is a great confidence booster!

He is only for sale as his owner will be heading off to college soon 😭

Adriene may have Benji as her YOGA partner but we have Ricky!!

Ever feel like your horse is the only athlete in the relationship while you’re just a collection of tight hip flexors and hope? 🐎🧘‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️

We spend thousands on chiropractors, massage therapists, and special saddle pads for our horses, but our own bodies are held together by iced coffee and a prayer. If your post-ride routine involves making noises like a creaky barn door when you get out of the truck, it might be time for yoga.

Here is why swapping your boots for a yoga mat (just for 20 minutes!) actually helps your riding:

Finding your center: It helps you build a core that can actually survive a massive spook without you eating dirt.

Western Wednesday 🌵

A little different Western Wednesday with some special moments from our equestrian team competing on the YEDA - Youth Equestrian Development Association, Inc circuit.

Yeda gives riders the chance to show a horse without all the expense of owning the horse (you can still compete even if you have a horse too!) They also have a FANTASTIC scholarship program! Riders are group by skill level so you are competing against riders of a similar age and level. No show experience necessary!

We can’t wait for this season to get kicked off! We have our info meeting and registration August 23 at 1pm and our first competition in October!
