W***y was absolutely incredible this week and not missing a single beat when the girls are away. He was 1st or 2nd in every performance class shown.

Need to get some work done? Thanks to the Ohio Quarter Horse Foundation, the Congress Classroom is open for another great year in the Congress Hall Annex building.

The Classroom offers free high speed internet, a quiet place to study or work and a printer. We will also have tutors again this year; you can find the tutor schedule posted in the classroom.

The Classroom will be available from September 28th to October 21st and is open to all Congress exhibitors.

Juliet our 13 year old French Bulldog struggled with digestion issues and sore joints as she aged.
We heard about Fidos Bone Broth from a close friend who recommended we try it. We are so glad we did. The broth is homemade and all natural with no additives or preservatives and most importantly, within 2 weeks, Juliet’s digestive issues were markedly improved and she now jumps on the couch, likes to run after balls again and is just a happier dog. The Little Buckeye was a huge success for Olivia Tordoff and Too Blazin Cool!
This pair showed in L1 Western Riding, Horsemanship, Hunter Under Saddle and Equitation and had wins in every class and picked up over 70 points!
The class sizes were HUGE, 60 in the Amateur Horsemanship!! W***y is truly a “one in a million” horse and Brent Tincher always has him so prepared! Thank you OAQHA for a great show and incredible numbers. Thank you Garwood Farms for such a great facility and great footing! This is a don’t miss show in 2024!

6666 Ranch NRHA Derby presented by Markel Horse Prime Time & Masters Champion- Michael Garnett & Thundrstruk

With a beautiful run, Michael Garnett and Thundrstruk earned a score of 219 (includes handicap), and won both the Prime Time and Masters Championship. The duo also took third in the Level 2, and fifth in the Level 3, for total earnings of $16,684.

Thundrstruk, a six-year-old known in the barn as Herman, is by NRHA Five Million Dollar Sire Spooks Gotta Whiz and out of Flashy Tackie Kac. The talented stallion was bred and nominated by Stanley Coats, who will receive $614

“Sometimes he’ll get a little nervous and excited, but he’s never said ‘No, I’m not going to do that’ about what I ask him,” Garnett said.

Garnett thanked his trainer, NRHA Million Dollar Rider Martin Muehlstatter, as well as NRHA Million Dollar Rider Kole Price, for their help in getting them ready for this show.

At Wild Oats farm we believe in giving our horses the best of the best.
