Nathan’s story is one of the most encouraging we’ve ever had the privilege to be part of.

This young man has faced more than most people will in a lifetime — and he has met it with grit, faith, and a determination that is hard to put into words. Watching him rebuild his life, stay focused on what is ahead, and keep moving forward is something that stays with you.

We are so proud of Nathan. He is the kind of young man who is going to change the world, and we are honored that Lone Star Service Dogs got to walk a small part of that journey with him by providing Texas.

Texas has been by his side through rehab, through the hard days, and through every step toward greater independence. Seeing them work together is a reminder of why this work matters.

Nathan, we are cheering for you. Keep going. The world needs more of what you carry.

We recently received an update from a family whose son received a diabetic alert dog through Lone Star Service Dogs. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your service dog journey.🐕‍🦺🐾🤍

Freedom looks like this ❤️

She’s trained to detect when a POTS episode is starting — before the symptoms even hit. She alerts, fetches what her handler needs fast, and provides steady support in public.

This is what a properly trained medical alert + mobility service dog changes.

No more guessing. No more fear. Just the freedom to live her life again.

If you or someone you love needs this kind of independence back, DM me.

Our waitlist is open.

This is what scent work looks like in training.

Our dogs learn to detect specific medical scents so they can alert their handlers before a crisis happens. This kind of training takes time, consistency, and a lot of repetition — but it’s what gives clients real freedom and peace of mind.

We’re always working on sharpening these life-saving skills with the dogs in our program.

DM me if you’d like more information about our program.
