Hey FB family!! Meet our newest foster baby 😻

During Friday’s storm, this sweet little kitten was hit by a car. She’s scheduled for surgery tomorrow at Cedar Animal Hospital to get her leg amputated. Castaways has stepped up to rescue her and several other injured kittens who also need surgery and ongoing care.
Veterinary bills add up quickly, so any donation — big or small — will go directly towards treatment and recovery for these kittens.

Castaways Pet Rescue in Hinesville is looking for a few volunteers to give about an hour of their time or more per week to play with our babies in the Petsmart store. The Chiropractic Palms at 102 Redfern Village, St Simons Island, GA 31522, so graciously does a pet donation every year for our rescue and the drive is going on this week.

We had a nice adoption event at Brunswick Petsmart. Even though we had some bad weather, we still had visitors who came to see our precious babies.

We had two of our hairy children go to forever homes. We are so thankful for everybody coming out.

Here is an update on Mama Suzuki, now named Angel, who was very pregnant and we pulled her from Glynn County Animal Services.

She is the best mama to her four babies. Her babies are just thriving and now moving around a lot which is entertaining for the foster family. Mama Angel is just the most loving dog to her foster family.

We cannot thank Jenn Noel Smith and her family enough for opening their home and their hearts to these wonderful babies. Fostering makes all the difference in the world for these babies. A shelter or rescue is no place to have babies and try to take care of them. God bless you guys.
