This Saturday, one of my fosters will be at PetSmart in Hinesville, from 11-3. She was know as Philly, and I have been calling her Fancy ( Pants). She is approximately a year old and predominately German Shepherd. She is sweet, and at times shy. She has a great male shepherd voice and would love to have her very own person to watch over. Housebroken, and will keep up at your pace on a leash, and stop when you do. Knows to sit and stay and what no means. She would prefer to be the only dog at home. She plays well with other dogs, but in the home, is defensive of her people and things. Because she has never had her own, she wants to protect them. I know the right person is gonna read this, and say, I believe I'm that one that can give this sweetheart what she deserves. Thank you in advance for considering her.

Castaways Pet Rescue had an awesome adoption event today. Thanks to everyone who came out and looked at our sweet babies.

We adopted five dogs and two cats. Three of the dogs were puppies who had been fostered by Christie G. Parker-Keefe and her family. Thank you so much for giving them a wonderful, healthy start which prepared them for their forever homes.

If anyone is interested in volunteering at our adoption events, you can fill out a volunteer application at castawayspetrescue.org.The adoption events are held from 11-3, one weekend in Brunswick , GA and the following weekend in Hinesville, GA. Follow our page in case there are any changes.

We had a wonderful adoption day today, we adopted three dogs.

One family adopted their second puppy in the last couple months so they have partners in crime. Thank you so much to Louise Jewell for fostering Cindy and getting her all ready for adoption.

A second dog not pictured, named Mama Nala (now Mama Molly) was formally adopted by her foster Christie G. Parker-Keefe and family today, pictures to come. This family has raised Mama Molly and all her babies, can't thank you enough.

Another family came all the way from Hinesville to adopt their new family member who also came from Mama Molly, Biscuit.
