OMG!! We are all crying! Our longest resident and shelter favorite dog TROY has gone home!
Troy has called MCAS home since 9/2024 he came in emaciated with an embedded collar. This family met three of our dogs today and TROY stole the show! A huge thank you to this family for giving this little throw away a loving home and second chance. Troy will be the only pet in the home so no worries about sharing space with his treats or food! Woo hoo!! He may have missed Christmas but this boy has a home for the New Year!!

Troy is a black lab/staffy mix who is around 3 years old. He was found a stray starving and had an embedded collar. We have treated Troy and he’s gained a good bit of weight. Troy has been with us since 9/2024 and is so ready to find his own home. Troy is neutered, up to date on shots and ready to go home.

Troy is the sweetest dog, he loves kids and will get along with a female dog his own size. The only downside to him is he resource guards with other dogs. Troy has to be fed separate but also cant be around other dogs if any food is involved, this makes adopting him out very very had. Troy will sit for his food and wait for you to leave his bowl and tell him get it. He is 100% good boy and we really hope to save this boy so PLEASE SHARE!!

Troy does not have any behavioral issues with people at all. He also doesn’t want to live with a cat.

MCAS welcomes Drew!!

Drew was an undesired pet by his owner and now calls MCAS home. Someone somewhere thought breeding a litter of pups was a good idea, and only heaven knows where the rest are at. This is what happens, the puppies you sell/rehome end up in shelters and rescues. “They will find a good home” yet they rarely do… It’s very rare that puppies stay in their first home. Please spay and neuter your pets, there are to many homeless animals to be breeding more 😩

That being said let’s get back to Drew. He is a young pup around a year old. He is good with kids and dogs. He has shown no behavioral issues, he loves everyone even will jump in your car. He is around 34 lbs and has the cutest natural upped ears.

He will be neutered and UTD on shots at time of adoption. Send us a PM if you would like more info.

🎁 HOMES FOR CHRISTMAS 🎄

What do shelter dogs want for Christmas you ask? It’s not anything that can be bought in a store, it’s something much more. It’s a home where they can greet you at the door.

These babies have waited long enough to find their forever homes, they were born into an unkind world to owners who wouldn’t love them to the end. They dont understand that this isnt their home. They wag their tails, and kennel when we ask, they get their night night treats and go lay in their beds and we turn out the lights and go home.

They have had it better than they ever had since coming thru our doors. We want them to have this feeling in their own homes with loving forever families. Here are a few of our adoptable dogs, but NOT all.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!

How do we still have this adorable PUGADOR!! I dont know if that’s what he is or not but he reminds me of a lab/pug mix. This little low rider weighs 34lbs and is so very sweet. He walks good on leash, good with kids, and other dogs. He is learning to sit and iis very gentle with food. He hasnt shown any behavioral issues and is just the cutest thing!

We have stopped asking the WHY…..

Why are people so cruel?
Why get this animal if this is how it is to be treated?
Why.. Why.. Why.. 😭

Autumn is one of three dogs that was rescued from animal cruelty. The owner was charged with three counts of cruelty to animals. She is still thin, but not a skeleton as she was on her intake. This dog is all tail wags and happy to see everyone. She isn’t healthy enough to spay, but once she’s fixed she will be needing a loving home. We were told she had a medical condition which prevented her from gaining weight, all she has in NOTBEINGFEDITIS! This little pitty is packing on the pounds after some worming and regular feedings. Autumn is good with kids, and seems to like other dogs as well.

Autumn is available for rescue pull as of now.

We will post when available for adoption.

PLEASE share so hopefully someone will see this who might want this little survivor. The other two dogs are safe with rescue.

If you cant treat them respectfully and care for them properly DON’T GET THE PET!
