…..Because it will be here year round this year
It is almost November and we are helping cats in all stages of the reproductive cycle - in heat, pregnant, lactating, and sadly - lactating while pregnant again.
So, kittens will be born in January in the freezing cold if you don’t act now and SPAY/NEUTER EVERYTHING.
This is exhausting for the mom cats who have no choice. It’s also exhausting for shelter workers, volunteers, rescue groups, and fosters.
They need a person to intervene and stop the cycle.
At every stray location we’ve assisted this week, the story is exactly the same. No one wants the cats around but no one is stopping them from being born.
Stopping them from being born in a world where there’s too many cats and they are not wanted is the ultimate kindness. We show cats we care and love them by preventing more from being born.
Spay/neuter everything. Make an appointment with a resource right now. Don’t let kittens be born all winter long. 🩵
