Three years ago, a mother reached out after her son lost both his father and his beloved dog in the same year.
She knew camp could help him heal — but she could not afford to send him.

He came to Indraloka on scholarship support and thrived. He learned just how Dominic loves his belly rubbed. He ran through the pasture with Franklin. He counted peeper frogs in the pond and pig wallows. He felt his father’s presence in the simple beauty of a turkey feather. He found his joy again.

This year, she proudly told us she can finally pay for camp herself. Thanks to your past support, she never had to miss work to stay home with her son.

But now, many other families are facing hardships of their own.

Already, more than $14,000 in scholarship requests have been submitted for children experiencing grief, foster placement, financial instability, and major life transitions.

Indraloka is headed to Philadelphia on Saturday, June 13th, for Philly VegFest 2026, a joyous celebration of compassionate living and all things vegan and whole foods plant-based.

Four-time NBA champion John Salley, a longtime vegan, will deliver the keynote speech about the importance of a plant-based lifestyle for optimum performance. The free event (a donation of $5 is suggested) also features vendors, vegan food, cooking and wellness demos, live music, and much more.

The family-friendly event run from noon to 7 p.m. at Girard College in Philly's Fairmount neighborhood. It's super easy to get to by car, subway, or bus: https://www.phillyvegfest.com/

Indraloka's Earth Camp: Grateful Goats, kicks off on June 8th thru the 12th. Register your child today: https://indraloka.org/event/2026-earth-camp-week-2-grateful-goats/

Campers will spend the week learning from and connecting with Indraloka’s rescued sheep, goats, pigs, alpacas, turkeys, and many other furry and feathered friends. Along with hands-on animal experiences, campers will enjoy creative art projects, indoor and outdoor games, and plenty of nature exploration around the sanctuary grounds.

Lunch and snacks are included each day. On hot summer days, campers can cool off with sprinklers, water games, and baby pools for anyone who wants to splash and play.

• Ages: 5–14
• Camp Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Groups will be divided by age for most activities and combined for meals and daily group activities
• Cost: $200/week

Optional Before & After Care:
• 7:00–9:00 AM and 3:00–5:30 PM
• $100/week
• Includes additional snacks
