🚨 DO YOUR HOMEWORK🚨

When choosing a breeder, reputation matters—and it goes BOTH ways. A responsible breeder also makes sure you are a reputable buyer.

Before sending a deposit:

✔️ Verify a state kennel license through your Department of Agriculture and ask breeder how to do that
✔️ Look for a real website & social media presence and real pics
✔️ You should be able to visit the kennel (weather permitting)
👉 We allow visits, provide foot covers, and offer video calls but no visits to kennel in winter when its icy
✔️ Verify their veterinarian BEFORE sending a deposit (make sure they’re searchable). Ask breeder for name of their vet
✔️ Confirm the kennel location on Google Maps
✔️ Puppies should have a vet exam report you can verify. Ask for pics of vet exam report

💰 If the price seems low, that’s a red flag. Quality breeding is not cheap.
🚫 Scams are everywhere. We constantly hear from people who chose a cheaper option, got scammed, and lost hundreds of dollars.

⚠️ If someone is pushy or rushing you to send money immediately —STOP

*We do request a deposit to hold a puppy, but we are never pushy. We focus on the right fit, not a quick sale. We can place you on waiting list without deposit if you are not in a hurry to reserve
