A Little about Me and Forrest Gump

I fell in love with training dogs about 11 years ago when I adopted an adult shelter dog that had trust issues. I took classes with All American Dog Trainers; I got certified as a positive reinforcement trainer certified by Animal Behavior College, and have been a partner in that business for numerous years now. I started my own business with the hopes of transitioning to training full time and teaching a few dog sports that I am very interested in and compete in with Forrest Gump, my Australian Shepherd and St. Bernard mix. Do More with Your Dog recently accredited me with the title of Trick Dog Instructor. I am able to perform temperament tests as well as Good Citizen evaluations under the AKC.

I started my own business with the hopes of transitioning to training full time and teaching a few dog sports that I am very interested in and compete in with Forrest Gump, my Australian Shepherd and St. Bernard mix. Forrest Gump is my guinea pig when it comes to trying out all the info I learn about, like canine enrichment, from seminars and training academies such as the Fenzi Academy. He and I currently compete at the Masters level of AKC Rally; a more relaxed form of obedience.
