On this first THANKFUL THURSDAY of November we have a
🐇 Hoppy Tails Update 🐇
Phoebe & Moe (formerly Hamilton) are fully bonded and doing great in their FURever home. Their little hooman helped pick the name Moe for Hamilton because she loves Sesame Street - it's short for Elmo. Adorable 🥰
Their hooman Momma says, "They’re both so precious and nice!" "Moe is the sweetest thing in the world." And that Phoebe is so funny and jealous when they are giving Moe pets and love. She'll even sometimes thump to remind they she'd like some of that, too. LOL! Phoebe can still be a little skitzy at times, "but if you have treats she’ll sit on your lap and do whatever you want 🤣". She is highly food motivated and they referred to her at one point as "a pellet hog".

Early on with bonding, Phoebe was "the one being a little crazy - hu***ng and like scratching at him. And poor Moe just takes it." So they gave the bonding sessions a little break while the bunnies adjusted to their new home. Then when they started back up again, "it was actually quite easy. There was never any aggression and it only took a few times before they really just left each other alone and did their own thing. I still kept them apart for a while but having a pen split in the middle was very helpful in them getting to know each other. Now they are inseparable."
