Nestled in the rich green, rolling hills of Northeastern Pennsylvania is a magical place called Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge. It's a place where no animal is too old or too unwanted to find a warm bed, good food and most of all, love. Over the past 20 years, Blue Chip Farm has placed thousands of animals into warm, loving homes. Marge Bart, the owner and founder of Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge, is

rarely seen posting to this page. She has personally selected a few volunteers to speak on behalf of the animals, respond to followers comments/posts, and to inform and educate the community. Her time is spent with the animals, but she knows how wonderful the fans are who post here, and she reads the posts and comments frequently. Lilly needs a home! 💖

Lilly is a 2 year old German Shepherd. She is as sweet as can be, adoring all humans that she meets! She does well with dogs of all sizes, cats are unknown. She is an incredibly intelligent girl. She works hard to please her people and is always ready to learn new things. She is doing extremely well with both on and off leash training. She is house and crate trained, also travels well. She has had puppies in the past and is ready to end that part do her life. She is a phenomenal dog and is ready to find a forever family to call her own.

Melody still needs a home 🩷

Melody came to us as a stray, we later found out that she was intentionally dumped. Despite going through this, she has been nothing but pure sweetness since she walked through our doors.

Melody is estimated to be a 6 year old mixed breed. She has a sweet temperament, but due to her unknown history, a home with no young children is ideal. She does well with cats and seems to enjoy other dogs. She is crate and house trained, needing some work on her leash manners. She HATES shelter life and will try to pull our volunteers away from our buildings to go the opposite direction. She really wants to be back in a home and we hope a family chooses her soon. She is such a sweet lady who needs to find happiness again!

Kittens, kittens, and more kittens! ❤️

While we LOVE finding foster homes for our kittens, it simply is not possible to find one for every single kitten that enters our care - especially this year. Almost every kitten in this post is now in our adoptable room - CRAZY. We hate watching them grow up in the shelter, they deserve more attention and families to love! Please share for them, and fill out an application to meet everyone!

Kitten adoptions are $125, or $175 for a duo!
Kittens are required to go home in pairs if there are no other animals in the home.

Chachi needs a home!

Chachi is a 1.5 year old American Bully. He weighs 101lbs! He is very nervous at the shelter, but quickly showed us his very goofy personality! He is a gentle giant who loves every human he meets (well, except the vet). He has lived with children and does well with them. So far he seems to do well with other animals, but we will further test him prior to scheduling meet and greets. He is scared of the car, but allowed us to pick him up and was great once in it. He is house and crate trained, needing some work on his leash skills. He listens incredibly well and knows his basic commands. He is a giant boy with an even larger heart, and we hope his shelter stay is short. 🩵

Demi is a 3 year old male Dogo Argentino, weighing in around 85lbs. He is ready to end his career as professional foster dad and find a family to call his own.

Demi simply adores other dogs and does well with kids of all ages, he is not a fan of cats. He has an incredible temperament and everyone who meets him instantly falls in love. He is house and crate trained, he also travels well. A family with large breed experience is ideal. He is a pure love bug and his forever family will be extremely lucky to have him. ❤️
