Hi, I’m Lana! 🐱💜 Wishing a Happy Fathers day to all the cat daddies ....and other kinds of dads out there!

I’m a 2-month-old kitten who believes every corner is for exploring, every toy mouse is a personal challenge, and every visitor is a potential cuddle buddy. I zoom, pounce, nap, and then do it all over again.

Right now, my shelter friends and I could really use a little extra help while we grow, play, and get ready for our future families 💜

🎆 The Fourth of July is right around the corner, and unfortunately, it's one of the busiest times of year for shelters and lost pets. 🐾💜

If you find a lost pet:

✅ Check for an ID tag or microchip.
✅ Keep them safe
✅ Post in local neighborhood groups and lost-and-found pet pages, like Petco Love Lost.
✅ Report them as found with your local animal shelters.
✅ Help spread the word in your community.

Mighty Tiny is a 5-year-old sweetheart looking for a foster or adopter who can help her continue building confidence. New people can be a little scary at first, but this gentle girl is so brave! Once she knows she's safe, she'll happily curl up in your lap and stay close by your side. 🥹

She'd be a wonderful companion for someone who works from home, is retired, or simply wants a quiet best friend to share their days with. Mighty Tiny does well with kids, especially calm, gentle ones who can help her feel comfortable at her own pace.

We're partnering with our friends at Petcademy to help Mighty Tiny's future foster or adopter feel supported every step of the way with training tips, guidance, and resources to help her thrive. 🌟

Recent cases of New World screwworm have been confirmed in parts of Texas. While the risk to most household pets remains LOW, staying informed can help keep your furry family members safe.

✔ Keep pets on veterinarian-recommended parasite prevention
✔ Check regularly for cuts, scratches, hot spots, and skin irritation
✔ Monitor wounds until they're fully healed
✔ Contact your veterinarian if a wound worsens, smells unusual, or isn't healing properly

According to SPCA of Texas Chief Veterinarian Dr. Valarie Tynes, the best protection is what we already recommend every day: routine veterinary care, monthly parasite prevention, and prompt attention to wounds.

Legend has it that when the Farm Boy said, "As you wish," what he really meant was, "I love you."

Well, Princess Buttercup is still waiting for someone to say those magic words. 🥹🐾

At almost 2 months old, this tiny princess is looking for a foster or Foster-To-Adopt home while she waits for her spay surgery. She's adventurous, playful, cuddly, and ready to rule over a castle of her very own.💜
