🎉 Happy Tail Tuesday: Geno’s Story! 🎉

In March, Geno’s future was uncertain — but today, he’s living his best life ever! 🐾💙

Originally a foster pup, Geno quickly became a foster fail (the best kind!) when his family realized they couldn’t let him go. He arrived sick and fragile, but with DAS care and a whole lot of TLC, he bounced back and let his sweet, goofy personality shine. ✨

Now, despite being 4–6 years old, Geno is basically the biggest puppy! 🐶 He spends his days wrestling with his German Shepherd sister Wellesley, enjoying daycare adventures, long walks, endless toys, and of course… plenty of pup cups. 🐕🍦

From almost not making it… to completing his forever family. ❤️ Geno is proof that second chances change lives — for pets and their people.

💙🐶 Happy Tail: Blue 🐶💙

A year ago, Blue was an owner surrender—curled up in the very last pen, looking completely defeated. When his new family first saw him, he wouldn’t even lift his head. 💔

But with the help of DAS staff and volunteers, Blue was gently carried outside to meet them. The moment he felt the fresh air, everything changed—he perked up, ran over, and jumped straight into his future dad’s arms for a hug. 💙 Right then, they knew he was special.

After fostering-to-adopt and waiting for his medical clearance, Blue officially found his forever home. Since then, he has blossomed into the incredible dog he was meant to be:
🐾 Completed four levels of training—beginner through tricks!
🐶 Serves as a daycare greeter dog, helping welcome and evaluate new pups.
💤 Loves snuggling up with his rescue siblings, Teddy & Shelby, for nap time.

From the last kennel in the last row to a life filled with love, purpose, and family—Blue’s story is the perfect reminder of why second chances matter. ✨🐾

🌟🐶 Happy Tail: Lucy 🐶🌟

Around the 4th of July, Lucy’s life completely changed. Once a nervous mama missing her puppies and facing euthanasia, Lucy was given a second chance through Mission Pawsible—and now she’s thriving in her forever home! 💙

Her family was drawn in by her sweet disposition and knew she deserved peace after her hard start. With the help of a friend who watched her those first few days, Lucy had the space to decompress and discover what it feels like to be safe and loved. ✨

Now, Lucy is blossoming into the happy pup she was always meant to be. Some of her favorite things include:
🧸 Her lamb chop plushie
🍗 Chicken chips
🐾 Walks & zoomies
🐱 Her cat siblings, Spoon & Obie
🎶 Listening to records with her family

Her family says it best: “She is such a good girl with a good heart, and we’re excited to see how far she will come as she spends more time with us.” 💕

Meet Kendra A1250733, this beautiful brindle pup is all about good vibes, tail wags, and tongue-out smiles. Kendra is a sweet, gentle love-bug with a playful spirit. She’s potty-trained, has great house manners, and settles well with morning and evening exercise. She loves cuddles, belly rubs, playing fetch, and hanging out with her people—always ready to wiggle on the grass or join in on adventures. Her adorable head tilts will steal your heart every time!

Meet Samsara, a 3-year-old sweetheart who has been at DAS for 97 days. 💔 She was surrendered due to housing issues and has been patiently waiting ever since.

Samsara is dog-friendly, seems to be potty trained, walks nicely on leash, and LOVES a good game of push & pull. 🎾 With her playful spirit and friendly personality, it’s no surprise she’s a staff favorite!

This girl deserves a fresh start in a loving home—whether that’s through adoption or foster. 💕
