It's official! We will be at Common Ground Games in Dallas on Saturday, May 6th, 11 AM until 6 PM.

We will have a table set up and will have kitties! Please come out and meet us and some of our adoptable babies to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Common Ground Games. We will also be accepting donations of food, litter or other supplies.

In addition, the store will be having their annual board game sale. This sale always draws out tons of people because they don't have many sales! Buy two games and get one free! So you could come meet and pet some kitties, maybe adopt one, and take home some new games. What's not to love about that?

We will be making an event page for this and will be sharing this info multiple times as the day approaches. Hope to see you there!

Been wanting to meet one of our cats in person, but didn't know how to start? Good news, we are currently in collaboration with a local business to run a booth for a weekend. Located in the heart of Dallas, we will keep you guys up to date on details. Would be a perfect time for you guys to meet us, our kitties and our volunteers and get a feel for what we are all about.

Io has been a resident of The Witch's Hut for a little over a year. She started as a feral colony cat that wouldn't allow you to touch her to affectionate cuddle bug the moment I got some good scritchies behind her ear. Then a cold snap prompted me to bring her inside, and she decided rather quickly that indoor life was definitely for her and she has never once tried to leave. She became a pampered indoor baby and never looked back.

We have given her some time to adjust and learn some house manners as well as time for us to measure her personality.

Io is extremely affectionate and vocal. She is soft as a cloud to the touch and stunning. She is around 2 - 3 years old. The tip of one of her ears is snipped since she was fixed as a feral, but that hardly effects her beauty. She is tolerant of other cats though fine as a solitary feline. Her ideal feline companions would be of the gentle sort. She doesn't love dogs, but can grow used to them. Io is an expert at dealing with children as when they become too much for her she simply leaves. Pets and cuddles are welcome from all people of all ages and sizes by her and you would never know she used to never let anyone touch her with how enthusiastic she is to receive any pets now.
