Here comes Bubba, a 72-pound hunk of love with a heart as big as his tongue-out grin! At 3 years old, this Mixed Breed sweetheart is the perfect blend of mellow and playful, loyal and goofy. With his beautiful tan and white coat, floppy ears, and soulful dark eyes, Bubba is the kind of dog who can melt your heart in seconds, and then have you laughing just as quickly with his silly charm.

Bubba came to us from the Texas Hill Country as part of our effort to help shelters impacted by the tragic flooding. Despite the challenges he’s faced, Bubba has kept his big-hearted spirit intact. In fact, he’s the kind of dog who seems to know he’s been given a second chance, and he’s determined to make the most of it.

This big boy is all about the simple joys in life. A good belly rub? Absolute heaven. A nice, easy leash walk? He’s right there with you, trotting happily by your side. Meeting new people? Bubba’s wagging tail and goofy grin say it all: “Hi, new best friend!” His friendly, easygoing nature makes him a joy to be around, whether you’re going for a stroll, lounging on the couch, or enjoying a lazy Sunday afternoon.

At 43 pounds, he’s compact, charming, and absolutely convinced he’s the perfect size for your lap. One look at those big, pointy ears and his mile-wide grin, and you’ll know this guy’s a whole mood.

Spud is the kind of dog who makes every day better. He’s got a delightful mix of silly and sweet. Meet Bane, our VIP (Very Important Pup) guest at our recent Hospital Manager meeting! As part of our "Dog Day Out" program, we brought Bane out of the shelter for a day of fun, love, and attention. He stole the show!

Bane is a 2-year-old Shepherd Mix who fit right in and spent the day helping us present important topics, listening carefully to every speaker, supervising our team-building exercise, sitting perfectly for treats, and giving endless love and tail wags!

The City of Bedford tells us that Bane has been great with people and other dogs, and he's still waiting to find his forever family.
