Rehabbing a few horses from various injuries helps to keep the days busy 🤪

Eye meds multiple times a day every day, wrap changes every M, W, F. We definitely got a system going over here!

Maycee went to her first race this weekend on lesson horse, Dolly!

They had a great run, all barrels up! We always tell them good or bad, knocked barrel or not the first one you just gotta get out there and say you did it!

We had a great time at the annual Pick Your Poison Playday that Smokin Guns Productions puts on!

Just barrels this year but next year we’ll get our planning together and do the whole playday.

We had 3 newbies try their hand today at being a betty and they did so great! They definitely all have the racing bug now😆

Overall we had 7 horses go and 9/12 clean runs!

Stingy moving up to a canter🥹

So impressed with how he is progressing. While yes it’s slow, it’s my fault not his as soon as he was purchased he became a back burner guy for awhile.

Time to graduate to the arena🥰

Cowmans Hancock King “Sixpac” and Cat Smooth Colonel “Kit Cat” ventured out today for Trainer Time

Sixpac is coming along and inching his way toward another entry. We learned he had speed and we’ve forgot we had rate for a bit but it’s all coming back

Cat has never hauled out for barrels so our goal was for her to see the sights and just go through the motions. She’s gonna have some wicked turns on her when she finishes out!

Last one down! All my students looking have found ponies 🫶🫶

Thank you to everyone who has been apart of the search!

The rest of 2026 they are going to get to know their new ponies and some are in training with me. 2027 we get to watch the magic happen 🥹
