This is good info! You can also water in fish emulsion if you don't want to bury fish heads. Also rock phosphate is good to put in the hole.

So I needed to do something with all the good soil from my spring/summer bucket garden and decided to use the boards I had the buckets sitting on to build a 4 × 4 square foot garden. I had two plants that were still producing in buckets so I gave them a new home and the eggplant decided to bloom to set fruit. I planted green beans, a lettuce mix and spinach. Baby lettuce is already up.
