Might have another commercial property joining the Cardinal route. 👀

Took a trip out to look this one over in person last night. There are still a few details and numbers being worked out, so nothing official just yet.

But if everything comes together… this one is going to make for one heck of a before-and-after. 😂

Sometimes the aerial view just doesn’t tell the whole story. Seeing a property in person before committing makes all the difference.

We’ll see where this one goes. 👀

First visit. We had some catching up to do. 😂🌱

When we arrived at this property for the first time, the backyard had some serious growth waiting on us.

This wasn’t a normal maintenance cut, so we didn’t treat it like one. The deck went all the way up, ground speed came way down, and we worked through it one section at a time.

And that big grassy hill? Storm shelter. Yes, the mower went up it and back down. 😂

By the time we finished, the overgrowth was knocked down, the fence line was opened back up, and you could actually see the shape of the yard again.

Making some long runs this AM!

Before anybody comes for us — no, we didn’t decide this drought-stressed turf needed a haircut. 😂

This property had quite a bit of w**d growth standing well above the existing turf. Our goal today wasn’t to lower the lawn’s mowing height — it was simply to bring that taller growth back down to the existing turf canopy and clean up the property’s appearance.

The smaller sections were handled with a string trimmer. On the larger areas, there was simply too much scattered growth for spot-trimming to be practical, so the mower deck was set at approximately the existing turf height and used to level the taller growth.

Sometimes maintenance isn’t about cutting grass shorter. It’s about knowing what actually needs to be cut.
