Our HH dog is quite the star at Sugar Hill Elementary .. they have a special motivation for the kiddos to have time with Teddy 🐶❤️🐶❤️ see below.. ( thanks volunteer Anne H for all your visits: The mascot at Sugar Hill Elementary is a Longhorn. Kids can collect “Longhorn dollars” in denominations of $1 or $2 from teachers or staff for good behavior, kindness, homework, attendance, - any number of things. Longhorn dollars can be spent in the school store. New this year are “Teddy dollars” - the most expensive at $3 each for perfect attendance. Kids have to collect at total of $50 Longhorn dollars to earn 15 minutes of one-on-one time with Teddy. We’ve already had several kids who have earned Teddy time this year. There will be more in the spring.
