🐶Check out that face! Cash is such a handsome Goldendoodle we just had to share him with you❣️ Cash visited UrgentVet Cu***ng after his family noticed him scratching more than normal. 🩺Our veterinarian was able to check Cash out and find the problem: hot spots. If you've ever had a dog with a hot spot, you know how uncomfortable they can be. They are usually, inflamed areas of skin that can be painful, itchy, and infected.😢 They definitely need medical attention. Fortunately, we were able to treat Cash and send him home with medications that should continue his healing at home.💙

🐱 Beautiful Lychee's eyes are a little dilated after she got some pain medication. She came in after her family noticed a small sore on her chin that turned out to be an abscess. Our veterinarian prescribed the pain medication for her so that she would be comfortable while we treated her chin and got her some injections to help her feel better.

🐶 Meet Max, the sweet Shih Tzu! Max visited UrgentVet for inappetence and a gurgly tummy. 🩺Our dedicated team did everything we could to minimize Max's stress while our veterinarian checked him over. We were able to send Max home after performing some treatments that should aid him on his road to recovery. 💙

🐶 Cute little Lexie recently visited UrgentVet after her family noticed her scooting and seeming painful.😢 Fortunately, our veterinarian performed a thorough snoot-to-tail exam on Lexie and was able to pinpoint the problem: she needed a little help with her a**l glands.🩺 Most dogs (and cats) express their a**l glands naturally, but now and again, one will have some trouble and need a little help with it so that they don't get impacted.

🐶 Duke the Goldendoodle recently visited UrgentVet after eating some baby wipes. We're not looking to try them, but apparently some dogs think they're delicious!😂 Fortunately, we were able to persuade Duke to give them back. 😊 His family will be keeping a close eye on him for the next few days to make sure he didn't keep any of them, but we all wish him a speedy and uneventful recovery❣️

Yesterday, our team at UrgentVet Mckinney had the solemn honor of providing care for K9 Officer Azi, a devoted partner who gave his life in the line of duty. Azi was a hero, a protector, and a beloved member of the McKinney Police Department.

Our hearts go out to Azi’s handler, fellow officers, and all who knew and loved him. His dedication and bravery will never be forgotten.

Rest easy, K9 Officer Azi. You were deeply loved, and your service will always be remembered. It was a privilege to care for you.

🚨 OFFICIAL STATEMENT: OFFICER-INVOLVED SHOOTING 🚨

The McKinney Police Department has released an official statement regarding the officer-involved shooting that occurred on March 13, 2025, at the Red Roof Inn on 1300 North Central Expressway.

The investigation remains active and has been turned over to the Texas Rangers. There is no ongoing threat to the public.
