Tito, a sweet 5-year-old Golden Retriever, had an uncomfortable night with itchy paws, an irritated belly and ears, plus an upset tummy. 💙🐾

Our UrgentVet team found his signs were consistent with an allergic flare-up. His family chose a Cytopoint injection to help ease the itch and bring him comfort. We’re here to help pets get the urgent care they need with compassion and expertise.

Even superheroes need a little help sometimes. 💚🐾
Hulk came to UrgentVet after a night of vomiting—and a possible plastic-bag snack. Our team used bloodwork and X-rays to assess what was going on. His bloodwork showed no major concerns, while the X-rays found material that needs monitoring.
We gave Hulk fluids and nausea medication, with repeat X-rays planned within 24 hours. We’re here to help when your pet needs urgent care—and sending this sweet boy lots of love as he recovers. 🥹💙

When Elmer the Beagle got his paws on some raw chocolate chip dough, things quickly took a turn! 🐶🍪

His pet parents brought him to UrgentVet Carytown, where the team acted quickly to help. With medication to induce vomiting, they discovered Elmer had eaten a whopping 2.4 pounds of dough! 🍞

Raw bread dough can be dangerous for pets because the yeast continues to ferment in their stomach, producing alcohol that can lead to toxicity. Add chocolate to the mix, and it's important to seek veterinary care right away.

Thankfully, Elmer got the care he needed!

With a name like Rooster, you might expect a little crowing—but this sweet boy’s hacking cough had his family concerned! 🐓🐶💙

This adorable 3-year-old Miniature Cockapoo visited UrgentVet Cu***ng after developing a cough earlier in the day. He was also drooling more than usual, raising concern for a possible upset tummy. Our team examined Rooster and provided supportive care, including fluids, anti-nausea medication, and medication to help with his cough.

Rooster headed home for some rest, plenty of love, and close monitoring by his family. Feel better soon, sweet boy—we’re rooting for you to get back to your happy little self! 🐾💕

Sweet Jasper came to UrgentVet Cu***ng after his family noticed he was limping on his front left leg, seeming uncomfortable, and skipping dinner. This little 9-year-old Chihuahua mix wasn’t feeling like himself, and his family knew he needed some extra care. 🐾💙

Jasper kept us guessing by showing off a normal walk during his exam—sometimes our patients save their best steps for the veterinary team! While the cause of his intermittent limp remains uncertain, he headed home with medication to help keep him comfortable and instructions for plenty of quiet rest.

Feel better soon, Jasper! We hope your days are soon filled with happy little steps, a good appetite, and all the love your family has to give. 🐶💕

🍅 When Tomato, a 4-year-old Goldendoodle, suddenly lost her balance and began moving differently, her family knew she needed care.

At UrgentVet, Tomato was alert with normal vital signs and already feeling more like herself. Our veterinarian discussed a possible seizure and care options with her family. They chose to monitor her at home and follow up with their primary veterinarian.

Tucker, a 12½-year-old Terrier mix, needed urgent care after a mealtime scuffle with his housemate left him with injuries to his leg, muzzle, and lower eyelid.

Our team treated his wounds, placed a few stitches, and kept him comfortable. Reassuring eye exam and bloodwork results helped Tucker head home with a care plan—and a hopeful new dining setup. 🐶💙
