It’s spring cleaning time here. Just set my first batch of eggs (finally). Time for preventative care. What is your mite/lice prevention of choice? I’ve used frontline spray for years but my supply is officially depleted and I cannot buy it in my state anymore.

Had surgery and haven’t seen my birds in 2 weeks. Killing me!

Well not the news I wanted to share, but I did my part.
The APA decision on the Tolbunts is pending. There were comments overheard that don’t sound like they will pass but no official word as of yet.
I am however proud of how my birds placed.
There were 78 Tolbunt Polish at the show.
I entered 3 hens-They placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
I entered 1 cockeral (pictured)-He placed 1st
I entered 1 cock-He placed 2nd
I entered 3 Pullets-they did not place (they were too young)
I also entered 2 frizzles and they placed 1st and 2nd.

I’ll update when/if I hear anything else.
