Today our sweet boy turned 3 months old🥹 We celebrated with his favorite treat, a very delicious wormie, and he was extremely happy about it😊

Good morning

Hopper has been with us for almost three weeks now.

He is still going through quilling and his teenage hedgehog phase, so his mood can change every minute. One moment he is the sweetest little boy, the next moment… hissing potato.

That’s also why I haven’t been posting too much content with him yet. He is still adapting to us and to his new home, and I don’t want to stress him with the camera while he’s going through all of this.

But every day he feels more comfortable here. His appetite is great, he sleeps a lot and becomes extremely active at night.

He is slowly gaining weight and growing. Wormies and crickets are still scary if they move, so I have to “deactivate” them first before Hopper agrees to eat them😅

Hopper has also entered his exploration era. At first he was afraid to run outside his cage, but now he confidently patrols the entire apartment.

He is also very determined. If he decides to go somewhere, he will go. Obstacles get pushed aside or bitten.

Overall he is doing great and living his best hedgehog life. Eating, sleeping, running, growing and slowly getting used to us😊

Good afternoon

Hopper has been with us for two weeks already🥹

He’s settling into his new home and into our family surprisingly fast. He has a great appetite, gaining weight, running miles in his wheel every night, living his best hedgehog life.

We’re right in the middle of quilling and the teenage phase, so the mood changes are very real 😅 Sometimes it’s cuddle mode, sometimes it’s full hissing potato and we respect both.

Quilling usually lasts about 2–4 weeks, and week two looks like the peak… his quills are literally everywhere in the house 🙈

He sleeps a lot, eats well, is super active at night and often falls asleep in my hands, which still feels unreal🥹

He feels safe. He feels comfortable. And that’s all I could wish for.

Our tiny boy is doing absolutely amazing❤️
