GOOD NEWS FOR ALL CREATURES 📖
OBEDIENCE IS MOST IMPORTANT ‼️

Meet Yoshi who had a consultation this week. He is so cute but Yoshi has been getting the wrong information about what is acceptable an unacceptable behavior in the human world! 🌎

Yoshi has been lashing out at strangers and in situations that make him unsure or uncomfortable. Despite his size this could be dangerous for other people and animals! 🫣😬

Thankfully his family was open to learning new ways to communicate with him and help lead him to be obedient. Obedience can be hard sometimes but is better than sacrifice to God! 🐕❤️

Jesus said if we love Him we will be obedient to His commands. And same goes for our dogs, if they love us they will be obedient to our commands. Because we are their Masters! 🙏🏼

The Dog that Loves Too Much. 💔
Ruby is a Gem of a Dog, but Many See Ruby's Treasure as Flawed.
Ruby is a Dog That Loves Too Much. Unfortunately that trait may seal her fate.
We are facing a deadline with no other options for Ruby to find a home or foster home that would work for, or want her.
A boarding kennel would be too much for this old girl who longs for peace and quiet.
The perfect home for Ruby would be a single person or couple of empty nesters.
Ruby is 7 years on this planet and deserves 7 years more.
Ruby is spayed.
Ruby has minimal exercise requirements, except a fenced yard as speeding traffic upsets her. Ruby can sometimes go 12 hours without going out to potty so if you work longer shifts, she's ok with that, as her reward is seeing you walk through that door and be home safe and sound with her.
Ruby would love to be the only canine companion in your life and to be a part of your life. Ruby is devoted to protecting you to her last breath.
Ruby has not lived in a home with cats or young children so we do not know how she would fit in that environment.

GOOD NEWS FOR ALL CREATURES 📖
THE WORLD IS A WILD PLACE 🐕 🌍

Last night we had a great session with Noodle, Raki and their owners. Of course Polly and Diamond came along as helper dogs too! 🐕🐕🐕🐕

We went to a busy part of the city with lots going on so the dogs could be “flooded” with distractions. We used pressure/release techniques on leash, along with movement to aleviate social pressure and treats for markers! 😉

This is important exercise to do when dogs are ready so they can get used to the world around them. And not be so consumed with one thing to be scared or reactive about. But so they can find peace that is not of this world. 🌎

We even came across someone in need of help and we were able to pray with them and call emergency services and wait with the dogs until they got there. Always an exciting time serving the Lord! 🙏🏼🐕🚨

Jesus said “I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them.

I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world.

My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.

GOOD NEWS FOR ALL CREATURES 📖
OLDER DOGS ARE LESS WORK 😴

Puppies are cute that is for sure but they are alot of work. I have personally raised puppies and have worked with many clients that have as well. 🥰

However older dogs take way less work. Most people are busy with active lifestyles and work away from home. Which means older dogs may be a better fit for their life. 🐶

Many older dogs are already potty and kennel trained, leashed trained and know basic commands. They usually take less time to care for than puppies. So they can be a better option for your family. ❤️

We highly recommend checking out rescues and shelters like Helping Hand For Animals for a dog that is just looking for a soft place to land in their older age and later stages of life. Im grateful for my older dogs that can just chill. 🙏🏼😴🥰

Thank God a vet is finally talking about this. We have been preaching about this for the last decade after witnessing all the dogs with behavioral issues due to early spay and neuter and thyroid issues! Please sign the petition‼️‼️

GOOD NEWS FOR ALL CREATURES📖
DOGS FUNCTION AS A PACK 🐕🐕🐕

Spent time going on adventures and hikes this weekend so everyone can continue to get comfortable with each other! 🐕🐕🐕

Packs function working on things together so they can get goals accomplished and going on walks together is the first thing we recommend when bringing new dogs together! ❤️

Dogs dont have to be best friends to begin with but they do need to learn to tolerate each other. And follow the rules and commands of their Masters. Just like we are to follow Jesus commands! 🙏🏼

Keeping order and everyone safe will change the way the dogs feel about each other. But these are relationships of thinking, feeling creatures and we cant control their feelings. The LORD is in charge of that. 😉

We've have been preaching about spay and neuter affecting the thyroid ans behavior for the last 10 years. Thankful vets are finally speaking about it now. 🙏🏼

We all agree on the importance of preventing unwanted litters, but it may be time to rethink how it’s done. Hysterectomies and vasectomies can be performed safely as early as 8 weeks, providing sterilization without disrupting a dog’s natural hormones.

“Removal of the go**ds with surgical sterilization results in a loss of negative feedback to the hypothalamus and anterior pituitary. The sustained supraphysiologic luteinizing hormone (LH) concentrations in g***dectomized dogs can significantly alter organ function and even induce neoplastic changes. For example, g***d removal has a profound effect on thyroid function and is reported to be the most significant cause for the development of hypothyroidism in dogs. Thirty percent more g***dectomized dogs develop hypothyroidism compared with intact dogs. Within the canine thyroid, LH receptors are co-localized with thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) receptors.

Continuous LH receptor activation in g***dectomized dogs may interfere TSH receptor function by consuming second messengers involved in G-protein receptor cell signaling, preventing the action of TSH when it binds to its receptor in the thyroid, resulting in hypothyroidism. The incidence of anterior cruciate ligament ruptures is significantly increased following g***d removal independent of breed, s*x, weight or body condition. Luteinizing hormone receptors are expressed in the cruciate ligament and continuous LH receptor activation may increase laxity in these ligaments, resulting in joint instability. Both male and female g***dectomized dogs are at a significantly increased risk for lymphoma and hemangiosarcoma. Luteinizing hormone receptors are also abundant in these tissues. Research in four canine hemangiosarcoma cell lines found that LH receptor activation induces cell proliferation. In addition, research in three canine T-cell lymphoma cell lines found that LH receptor activation induces cell proliferation, adhesion, and invasion as well as increases LH receptor expression. Research is needed to determine if LH reducing strategies using g***dotropin releasing hormone agonists will increase remission times in g***dectomized dogs with LH receptor-positive tumors. In conclusion, among the non-reproductive functions of go**ds, suppression of LH secretion and resulting LH receptor overexpression appear necessary in maintaining endocrine, musculoskeletal, and anti-neoplastic health.”

GOD HAS OUR BACK 👊

Had a great outing with Gunner and Gri and our girls at Village Point! They came along for moral support and to show them how it’s done! 🐕🐕🐕🐕

It’s important that we advocate for our dogs in social settings to let them know we have their back like the LORD does for us too! 👊

This is how our dogs can learn to
follow and trust us that we have things under control. Trust is earned over time, time and time again God comes through and we should too! ❤️

When our dogs trust that we will protect and guide them in all situations they stop acting out on their emotions. This is the same thing Jesus asks us to do when following Him! ☝️
