Ace: smart, silly, and seriously still available??

Our boy Ace is back — showing off his training, his smarts, and his signature goofy charm. Whether he’s nailing his cues or doing a spontaneous zoomie just for the joy of it, Ace is the total package: brains, personality, and a wag that just won’t quit.

This 3 year old Border Collie mix is more than ready to keep learning and living his best life in a home of his own.

LOOKING FOR WORKING CAT HOMES! 😻

These cats are not socialized and prefer to avoid people, but will help with pest control in your barns, warehouses, etc. As there is no TNR program within city limits, these cats need to be rehomed to the county.

These cats still require daily care including feeding & watering, and a dry, warm/cool shelter where they are safe out of the elements. Working cats come spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and their adoption fee is what you choose to donate.

This handsome guy is Bing!

Bing is an 11-month-old Akita/Husky that is full of energy, full of personality, and absolutely loves being the center of your attention. Whether he's leaning into you for pets or bouncing around with excitement, Bing is the kind of dog who keeps things fun. Meet Pat... Pat, the rat.

Pat is a juvenile male rat, close to around 2 months old. Rats make great pets due to their intelligence and generally affectionate personalities. They prefer to live in pairs or groups, so we would love for Pat to an owner who already has resident rats, although not required.

Like with any critter adoption, we urge adopters to do plenty of research on enclosure requirements, and dietary/enrichment/social interaction needs.

A message from Zinnia's foster:

"When Zinnia first arrived in our home, she was timid and unsure, often hiding away and watching the world with wide, cautious eyes. But with a little patience and a lot of love, she’s truly bloomed into a confident, affectionate companion who absolutely adores being part of the family.

Zinnia is one smart, determined girl — she quickly figured out how to push open a loose door or hop a gate just to spend more time with us. Once she feels safe, she’s wonderfully chatty and will follow you from room to room, chirping little comments as if she’s narrating your day. She loves gentle pets and will often be found keeping you company like a loyal little shadow.

She’s also been incredibly calm and composed around our large St. Bernard dog — unfazed and unbothered, even lounging nearby like it’s no big deal. Zinnia would likely do well in a calm home where she can continue building trust and showering her people with the love she’s discovered she has to give.

Her playful and curious spirit has made for some unforgettable moments — from dragging the dog’s giant pillow into her room as her personal throne, to sneaking around the house for solo adventures with a sparkle in her eyes.

What an awesome day!! Thank you to New Visions Homeless Services, Community Foundation for Western Iowa, and Petco Love for this partnership that allowed us to offer this free vaccine clinic in our community.

What we saw is a real need for these services, and our goal is to secure more funding to be able to offer another clinic like this in the future. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to our amazing staff and volunteer team for helping make it possible.
