Marcy. What’s your opinion on the Pitbull Ban? Please know that I am a city employee. I enforce codes passed by the city council—whom are elected by our community. I will always do what I can for my city/the animals in it and enforce the codes presented to me. I do this job because I love animals AND people 🐾
🙏Please be responsible. When moving to a new city research the laws in that jurisdiction. All cities are different. Some allow farm permits, some allow constricting snakes, some have restrictions on certain breeds of dogs and cats. (Bengals, hybrids, bully breeds, etc) Some cities allow campers to be parked, no privacy fencing on corner lots, and some require fencing for pools. I know animals are far more important to us but I implore us to focus- come together- and love our community and the people in it. Obey the laws and change the ones we don’t like by practicing one of the most important things we can do as an adult. **Civic duty: Vote** It does matter. Please respect the people we elected. They are just humans doing what they think is right- and while we might not like all the decisions- we are all neighbors. Buy them a drink. Shake their hand. Be kind. 🫶

I have a tendency to be a people pleaser and I take pride in my positive reviews here on Facebook and Google. 😳
•Welp. I got my SECOND bad review on Google. 💀🫤
While I encourage if you had a bad experience to reach out to me and give me an opportunity to right any wrongs as I will never invalidate other people’s feelings. And I will always hear you out…..it made me feel crummy. 😞
🫶BUT…then… I had several families come in and message me just this weekend that had adopted from us- unsolicited- that were so KIND and supportive that I have to remember that I am not perfect. Actually I probably have more flaws than most people to be honest. And that is what makes me who I am. Genuine. Honest. Empathetic to a fault. And while maybe I had a bad day- I will always strive to be better.
Feeling bad for my negative Google review? Go counteract my bad algorithm with your review. But try to make it positive. I don’t know if my heart can take anymore bad ones 😭😭😭😭😭♥️♥️♥️🐾🐾🐾🐾🤟🤟🤟🤟🥰
