Jimbo is learning that the world, and the people in it, can be pretty wonderful.

Over three years old, Jimbo is on the shy side, but with a medium energy level that peeks through when he’s comfortable.

He doesn’t immediately demand attention, preferring to observe and take in his surroundings.

Jimbo will need a patient adopter with a quiet home who is willing to give him the time to feel safe.

He might need a little bit longer to open up than other dogs, but the reward of watching a timid dog begin to relax, feel comfortable, and trust you is hard to beat.

Apparently, I’m Really Bad at Getting Adopted.

I’ve been practicing for 2½ years, and I still haven’t figured it out.

I’m Scrunchie. I’ve done Facebook. I’ve gone to adoption events. I’ve smiled for pictures, shown off my zoomies, and even tried being ridiculously handsome.

Still here.

But you know what? I’ve never had a bad day. I still love people, I still love to play, and I still believe my person is out there.

So maybe we try something different.

Don’t just like me. Share me.

Somewhere out there, someone is going to see this ridiculous face and say, “THAT’S MY 71 POUND DOG.”

Get ready to channel your inner zombie and join us for a worldwide simultaneous dance of “Thriller” in support of the animals at Verde Valley Humane Society!

Come watch the arm-swinging, foot-dragging Thriller Dance and help make a difference for shelter pets in our community!

WANT TO JOIN THE DANCE?
Learn the Thriller Dance in person at weekly workshops or practice online through the official Thrill The World choreography lessons.
