Peach celebrated her 9th birthday while boarding with us today!

Peach joined the Thunderbird Dog Training family back in 2022 when she went through our three-week training program🐾 it’s been such a joy keeping up with her over the years and having her back to visit for boarding!🥰🍑

Here’s to many more healthy, happy years! We love you, Peach!!🩵🐾

Give a big welcome to Ronnie!

This beautiful girl comes from the same household as B***r, and since B***r has joined the pack she is starting to act up and show some unwanted behaviors in the household. For the next two weeks she and B***r will be continuing their education and learn how to be better behaved pack mates before they go home 😁🐾

Say hello to Lucy. Lucy is a dog that’s been through a lot and has a ton of fear and anxiety that keeps her constantly stressed out.

Right now, she has been coping with that stress by barking, lunging, and growling at everyone in her life except her owner that she is bonded to. One of the reasons she and her owner are so close is because they can relate to each others’ fear and pain. This is a particularly special case where all my efforts and intention are going into not only helping the dog to heal and walk in the world with confidence, but teaching her owner to do the same so she can continue to empower her dog.

Since Lucy’s owner is aging and more caretakers and strangers need to enter the home on a daily basis, Lucy needs to have the skills and confidence to coexist with these guests, raising the stakes for being able to keep this soulful dog and her owner together.

They truly are a match that hold such deep love for each other. I will be giving my best effort to help them move through their challenges toward a more peaceful healed life and home.

Send Lucy positive vibes as she and her owner face their challenges and turn pain into healing🙏🩵🐾

I just love whenever I get a heeler in!! They are some of the coolest dogs I’ve ever worked with 🥰

This guy has had some big ups and downs recently. He was living an almost feral life on a huge property in Williams when his owner unexpectedly passed away. Some very loving friends of his owner stepped up and it took a lot of effort to even catch him so they could care for him. Long story short, they ended up deciding to keep him forever.

This pup is new to leashes, being indoors, and anything besides running wild really. His new owners love him very much and have made a lot of progress in building his trust, but they decided they could use a little professional help. So now this good boy is here for four weeks to get some basic manners, socialization, and confidence under his belt.

Please give a big welcome to B***r! (Yes that’s his real name 💀🙊) I’m so excited to open up a world of adventure and joy for you, little guy 🥰🐾

BIG NEWS! We are now offering basic obedience group classes in the Cottonwood area! The first sets of 6 week classes will be starting Tuesday, Aug 26th and Saturday, Aug 30th! They will be located at the Riverfront park near (not in) the dog park 🐾

Group classes are where I learned a lot of the foundational training that I use every day. Now in addition to board and trains, events, and private and virtual lessons, I’m excited to provide yet another service to benefit the dog owners of our communities!

**COMMISSIONS OPEN** Hey all!! I am about halfway through my van trip up to Washington state with my two pups and one board and train in tow.

I’m looking to earn a little extra cash while I’m up here for gas and food and to help pay the bills back home, so I am offering some amateur, hand painted pet portraits for those who are interested! A recommended donation of $50-$100 is appreciated for time and materials and shipping!

I’ve posted a couple examples of my abilities and just know that each portrait is done with love! Please message me if you are interested 🥰
