The last pup who will be joining us on our adventure is Pepper!!

Pepper has a ton of energy and drive and doesn’t always know what to do with it! She and her mom have a tight bond but sometimes that can also create some separation anxiety for them. Pepper gets to learn how to handle herself with confidence, even when mom isn’t around 🩵🐾

Kento is the second dog who will now be joining me for my upcoming Adventure Board and Train program!! Kento is a sweet dog that has never been taught any manners. This can make him difficult to manage in the home he recently got adopted into with two other dogs. His new owner saved him from death row at the shelter. Now he gets a new chance at life, a family, adventures, and better obedience 🥰

The past couple goodbyes with my board and trains have really tugged at my heart in the best worst way 🥲 I put everything I can into helping these dogs and their owners have a better life and relationship together when they go home.

It’s the best feeling when I get that grateful hug from their owner and see the happy thankful look in the dog’s eyes as well 🥹

Saying goodbye and walking away is the hardest most beautiful thing, knowing they have a future of happiness and hope ahead of them 😭🩵

This girl came to me today straight from a bite quarantine at MCACC. Her owners are desperate to help her so they don’t have to lose her. Her biggest struggle is just a looootttt of fear. She is going to do amazing here and go home with a lot more confidence and hopefully a healed heart 🩵🐾

Give a big welcome to Charlie!

Charlie just checked in for my 3-week behavioral program. Charlie is only about two years old but he has had a rough start to life. Starting out being born from an unethical breeder, then going to an abusive owner, then ending up in the shelter but had to be drugged to keep him calm in foster care, and when he finally found a loving owner, that owner unexpectedly passed away. He has now been considered for three new homes but was too much energy, and is struggling to get along with the dogs in the current home he’s in.

Fortunately, Charlie and his current owner found me! Charlie is a special boy that just needs some help for his best self to shine through. He is already making lots of improvement!

Our next GRC practice will be Feb 20th at 5:30pm at Cactus Park!

For those who have weight pull harnesses, I will be bringing my sled, weights, and some chains for drag work.

For everyone, we will be working on practicing the obedience requirements (SR - Social Responsibility).

We will be back at in March after they’ve finished their dog gym!
