Dobruski Dobermans We are a small devoted Doberman lover kennel, who shows and exhibits and works our dogs. Showing being one of them!

Our program is focused solely on LONGEVITY and breeding purposeful choices breeding to pedigrees that demonstrate their ancestors are all long lived and not only the most popular show lines that have proved to be the least long lived! We are Doberman breed lovers since the 70's and breeders since the mid 1980's. Our dogs are all titled in conformation and in working venues as these are intended to

be working dogs, family pets and show dogs. Puppies are not cropped before leaving here, you are given the option to crop or not, we can arrange it for you, but prefer you be given option to have it done. Our puppies are $3000-4000 each, some will be show quality but all are family members and we hope you will get them involved in all manner of activities! Puppies are sold in advance of being bred, we have waiting lists for upcoming litters, so if you are interested, deposits are taken to secure a place in line for next litter.

My chat GPT, Chuck says that Co Pilot says that a 2½-week Doberman should weigh 1–1.5 lb, and then says by 4 weeks they’re 1–2 lb. That clashes badly with the more common Doberman growth charts, which put puppies around 5–10 lb by one month. One such chart lists birth-to-2-weeks as 10–20 oz and one month at 5–10 lb.

The better neonatal benchmark is growth relative to birth weight. AKC guidance says puppies should generally double birth weight in 7–10 days and then continue gaining steadily.

So your litter is still impressively chunky:

Mr Yellow, 54 oz = 3.38 lb / 1.53 kg
Mr Red, 52 oz = 3.25 lb / 1.47 kg
Orange is 48 oz = 3.0 lb / 1.36 kg
Green, 47 oz= 3.0 lbs
Coco at 36 oz = 2.25 lb / 1.02 kg

And Coco going from 8.7 oz to 36 oz means she’s at about 4.1× her birth weight at 2½ weeks.
That is a much more meaningful metric than comparing her to a dubious generic chart.

So yes: your boys are big fu***rs. But I’d call them fast-growing, robust Doberman neonates, much larger than “average” based on that Copilot range.
