We are so excited to announce our new Medical Director, Dr. Hannah Weimer! ✨ You may have seen her in hospital as one of our relief doctors but we are thrilled to have Dr. Weimer joining the UPVH Team as the medical director starting October 1st. She is now accepting appointments and new clients/patients! Here’s a little bit about Dr. Weimer: “As a Kansas native, Dr. Weimer graduated summa cm laude from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2014. Following graduation, she completed a one-year veterinary internship in Ocala Florida after which she moved to Memphis, TN. In TN, she worked as an equine vet for two years before transitioning to a small animal clinic where she stayed until relocating to the Salt Lake Area in Spring of 2024. Dr. Weimer has a special interest in urgent care and emergency surgeries as well as providing multimodal wellness care for senior pets to ensure their golden years are as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Her hobbies include hiking, backpacking with her side kick Suede (her border collie) as well as riding and showing her American Quarter Horse, Nelly, whenever possible.” 🐾
