The Cattery is a cage-free cat shelter that rescues abandoned, sick and/or abused cats and cares for them until they find their permanent, loving home. In answer to our community's pet overpopulation problem, The Cattery also started Corpus Christi's first High Quality, High Volume, Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic for cats and dogs. We believe in the human/animal bond and that people love their pets.

Every season has something special to offer, but autumn sure knows how to make an ordinary afternoon feel like a little celebration. A beautiful sky, a gentle breeze, and a peaceful moment to enjoy it all. 💕

Life is too short to be grumpy all day. Have a treat, take a nap, and try again! 💗

🌼💀 Día de los Mu***os 💀🌼

Today, I made a little place for some very special souls who aren’t here with me anymore. ❤️

This past year, I said goodbye to Wilson, Whitney, Templeton, Dapper Dan, and my very best friend (and boyfriend, obviously) Chester. I couldn’t make an ofrenda without including my sweet Valencia, who left us three years ago.

That is a lot of love to miss.

Día de los Mu***os reminds us that the ones we love don’t simply disappear. We tell their stories. We say their names. We remember the silly things they did and all the ways they made our lives better. For a little while, it feels like they’ve come home to visit. 🌼

So today my friends are all here with me again, surrounded by marigolds, photographs, memories, and so much love.

Wilson. Whitney. Chester. Templeton. Dapper Dan. Valencia. ❤️

I hope wherever they are, Chester knows he’s still my boyfriend. I have not authorized him to see other cats. 👑❤️

Happy Día de los Mu***os, friends. Remember someone you love today. 🌼💀🌼

There's something so lovely about this time of year, my dears! 🍁 The days get a little shorter, the evenings feel a little cozier, and suddenly a warm blanket becomes the most valuable thing in the house. Life is pretty sweet!

🎃🖤 Happy Halloween, my pretties! 🖤🎃

After an entire spooky season of ghosts, spiders, ghouls and even Rosemary’s Baby, I saved a little old-fashioned Halloween magic for the big day. 🧙🏻‍♀️🐈‍⬛ I put on my witchiest hat, gathered an alarming number of black cats, and made sure the cauldron was properly stocked with treats. Obviously.

My Halloween Fashionista photo shoot is waiting for you in my Facebook group! Come celebrate the spookiest day of the year with your favorite little witch. 🎃🐈‍⬛✨

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's SUPER DAN! 🦸‍♂️❤️
Our beloved Dapper Dan was always such a good sport when it came to our silly costumes, and goodness, did he know how to make us smile! 🥹💕 We miss our sweet boy dearly, but we're choosing to remember all the laughter, joy, and wonderful memories he gave us. Even now, he still has a way of making us smile.
Some superheroes don't wear capes… but ours certainly did! 🥰

Happy Halloween from our forever superhero, Dapper Dan! 🎃🧡

Well, my dears, it appears Purrcy has been turned into a walking taco! 🌮😂💕 And judging by that little face, he did NOT volunteer for this particular Halloween festivity!
Personally, I think he looks absolutely delicious, I mean, ADORABLE! But something tells me he'll be filing a formal complaint with the glam squad before the weekend is over. 🎃🐾

I've been practicing my spooky face, but apparently I just look like I need a little kiss on the forehead. Being this adorable is a terrible burden. 🐝😂

I'm always watchinggggg. Waiting for you to give me treats.
