Thinking about sending your little ones to Camp Happy Tails this summer? ☀️🐾
Now’s the perfect time to join the fun because we’re proud to announce that LIMITED camp scholarships are now available! Scholarships will cover all the cost of a Camp Happy Tails session of your choice.

Whether your child dreams of working with animals, wants to learn more about pet care, or just loves spending time with furry friends, Camp Happy Tails is packed with hands-on learning, shelter fun, and unforgettable memories 🐶🐱

Campers will get a behind-the-scenes look at how an animal shelter works, meet adoptable pets, learn about animal care, and explore what it takes to help animals in our community!

✨ 4 weeks to choose from 4 unique themes.
✨ Ages 6–12
✨ $250 per session (includes lunch + camp tee!)

Chica has finally been found!🐾

Through sightings, messages, tips from the community, and countless hours spent searching, we never gave up hope. And finally… in an open field, surrounded by staff and her foster mom, Chica ran straight into the arms of our Foster Coordinator.

Chica is now SAFE back at the shelter.❤️

We know emotions run high when situations like this happen, but we also want to remind our community that accidents can happen, even to the most loving, responsible fosters.

Right now, we have over 130 animals in foster homes, and without our fosters, we simply could not save as many lives as we do. They open their homes, hearts, and time to animals who need a second chance, and we are endlessly grateful for every single one of them!

Thank you to everyone who kept an eye out, sent tips, searched alongside us, and refused to give up on her. This happy ending belongs to all of you, too. 🤍

‼️MISSING FOSTER DOG‼️
Our hearts are very heavy making another post like this. Please know that no one is taking this lightly.

We unfortunately had another foster dog escape. Chica was last seen today on the corner of Lamont St. and Arlene Dr. in Corpus Christi, TX. She is wearing a red bandana and her red leash is still attached. There have been multiple sittings of Chica in the area but unfortunately she is a runner making it difficult to catch her. She is spayed and microchipped.

Accidents can happen, even when people are trying to do something meaningful and kind for our shelter pets. Right now, our focus is simply bringing Chica back safely.

When’s the last time you cleaned out the attic or that one full closet?👀

You might have a few pet carriers laying around and not even know it! Maybe your pet outgrew it… maybe it’s been sitting in your garage since 2017!

We are currently in need of pet carriers (preferably ones with a secondary top opening)! New or gently used donations help us safely transport, house, and care for shelter pets every single day.

Drop offs can be made at the shelter during business hours at 3118 Cabaniss Parkway, Corpus Christi, TX! Thank you🩵
